The approval date was 10/21/2016. Sorry forgot to add that earlier.

finally it's approved. i am october 16 filer: NoA 10/20/17,Bio 11/16/17, waited and waited and called last thursday to tier 2 officer, she said she would send a request to VCS to see if they need extra information from me and call back if no news by 10/6; Got approval letter today , decisions date is same date i called - 9/21/17.  I found it unbelievable but all content with it .

Questuin now is how soon i will receive the physical card ?

i hope all people in anxiouty shall have the day to relieve soon !!

I called them today and a tier 2 agent told me VSC is processing August files and I should just give it a couple of more months. I told her that the online processing time table tells they are processing August 15 2016 applications and that is as of July 31st. She then says she sees the same thing as of September 21st. I think she was just trying to wave me off. She also said it's the date of the notice that matters for the extension and not the date of the green card. Told her that I cannot get an infopass as there are no available dates and she is like try at midnight. Out of all of this conversation there absolutely was no information I didn't know already. Calling them was a waste of time for me. Those who happened to talk to agents who made requests on their behalf are so lucky. 

 

Hope we all get approved soon. I know most of you are worried like me

Welp, my NOA date is 10/7/2017 (VSC) and so far I've heard nothing. Called a couple times in the past month to see if any letters may have gone missing in the mail, was told by two tier 2s that my case has not even been assigned to an officer at VSC yet and that processing can easily take up to 14 months. 

 

Starting to get worried after seeing so many late October folks get approved with VSC, will try calling again in a few days. Does anyone know if RFEs are reflected in the I-751 case status on the USCIS website?

 

Also, FWIW, I made an Infopass appointment about a month ago and got my passport stamped. The officer mentioned that it looks like someone has already accessed my case file (contradicting the Tier 2s!) and said that I should expect to hear back soon. He also mentioned that it looks like all I-751 will require an interview sometime soon, but he's not sure of when the start date for the requirement is.

Good to hear VSC approving October filers

 

I am also waiting for my wife’s 10 YR GC

 

 I-751 -> 10/8/16

 

NOA1 -> 10/14/16

Bio-metrics -> First was done on 11/17/16. They called us back bec unable to capture it first time. Second bio-metrics was done on 12/11/16

 

I hope to get the card or the approval letter in October bec I have a pending mortgage application.

You meant NOA 10/7/16 ?? 

 

Don't worry.. There are many Sep VSC filers still without approvals. I don't know how they allocate these cases in VSC. Some might get delayed and some get approved weeks or a month before others.. 3 months back two of my friends Approval and GC came 14th month after filing at VSC. Looks like the time frame can be from 11 to 14 months. 

 

If you had an RFE it should have reflected on the case status..

Hi guys,

Today I received approval letter from VSC.

 

Please add me to the list:

File date: Oct/20/2016 

NOI: Oct/24/2016

Biometrics: Nov/17/2016

Approval: Sep/21/17

 

The one thing that I have noticed that on the bottom of this letter was signature of the local service center director, that's why I am not sure where this decision was made here or in VSC.
