Hi everybody. I just have a question about the cover sheets. As what I've learned from the wiki, there will be 2 cover sheets. One for the AOS and the other one for the IV but looking at the cover sheet (attached) we received last week, looks like they are for both. Am I correct? I just wanna make sure that I am understanding things correctly.

From what I understand from a person that recently sent her doc to NVC there is only Barcoded coversheet that is sent it with the Financial and civil docs and thats the one you had attached. Back when I sent my docs there were 1 for AOS, 1 for IV and the one you attached. I believe NVC made some changes which is good. I didn't see the purpose of sending all 3.

I have this kind of cover sheet when my case was assigned in MNL but I had two as soon as I change consulate to SG. so I believe it varies per consulate.

Thanks MrsBurgz. Few more follow-up questions. I remember somebody advised me some time ago while preparing our documents that we only need to submit the transcripts for the I-864 but in the cover sheet it asked for all 3, IRS Tax Transcript, Federal Income Tax Returns and Form W2. Have you submitted all 3? Also this sheet asked for a proof of relationship, will the proofs that we sent to the USCIS do or we have to make another set?

Thats a general form for everyone. Just tick "available" for transcripit and the other check the "not applicable" box for the two. I only sent in my transcript. NVC actually prefers the tax trancripts.

The proof of relationship is "not applicable" that would only be necessary if you're sponsoring for example a sibling and you had to send proof that you are related. As I mention before this coversheet is a general doc for everyone.

My husband and I received our NOA2 on September 30th, while I was visiting him in Mexico :) It felt wonderful to be able to celebrate together!

Now we just wait for NVC to receive our case.

Can anyone confirm if I still need to call and try to get my case number in a few weeks? I am working with an attorney and had read that others automatically had both their AOS and IV fees unlocked at the same time because their attorney was automatically selected as agent. I'm just not sure if I can call and get the case numbers to move that along more quickly or if that does not apply to me since I have no need to fill out the DS-261.

Thanks, and good luck to everyone!!

Hello Vjers,

Have a question. So I sent a request for expedite and I got an email asking for some info. The only thing in the list they gave that I didn't include was beneficiary country and local phone number . So I added that and resent the request. I got the same email asking for those same things 2 'more times. I don't know if I should keep resending. Has anyone experienced this before ?
