He submitted all the papers he have pertaining to his divorce. FL 180 page 1 and Marital settlement agreement. He sent me scanned copies but I don't even know what divorce papers suppose to look like. So when i have read RFEs for final divorce decrees, I started reading about it. That's when i know, we submitted the wrong papers.

When i talked to my fiancé about it, he is not even aware that he don't have the complete documents. He said that he used those docs in all his transactions that requires it and never had problems. So since he nevet had it, he will just go and get certified true copies from the courthouse.

Mine just sent copies in of the original cause he's been deployed that time we sent the application.

But first u need the : Civil action Final Judgement of divorce (of the court he was supposed to get divorced) has 2 pages (the second has a stemp on it and the signature of the deputy clerk )

That's all I've found in the copies I got sent from him.

Yay congratulations! By the way, if you sent it USPS express and they didn't deliver it in the promised amount of time, you can be refunded your entire shipping fee. I was almost hoping mine would be an hour late just to get my $20 back :P It's a long and expensive road ahead.

LOL! Yes it is! Express would have to go to the Lewisville address though, right? Anyways, just happy that it finally made it there :)

Hello everyone,

I downloaded the USCIS app on my iPhone when I started my K-1 journey, it has become my number 1 source of info on the go regarding my case. Like every morning I checked the app this morning as well to check the status of my case. I found out that the app has this search feature where you can put your receipt number and it can search for all ohter applications that were received and it will show the status of the other applications. I saw that my case was received and that is the current status. Also i saw that cases that have been received later in the order have been already approved. Is this normal? Is it just luck?

Also are there any August or end of July filers that have already received their NOA2 either by email or mail?

Hello everyone,

I am an August filer as well and new to the forum.

I also downloaded the USCIS app today. Can someone kindly explain to me where in the app I can search to see how my case compares to other cases that were filed at around the same time.

So far I can only search/see mine and it says received. I have received a notification email that my application was routed to CSC on August 18th. I am still waiting for the hard copy NOA1 though.

Thank you. I like this group. It feels like a support group since we are all going through the same thing.

Hi there!

My fiancé and I are very excited to start the whole process.

So we hired a lawyer since we are both busy with work. According to the scanned papers, our I-129F was sent on July 31, so I guess that makes us August filers, too! ?

We are yet to receive confirmation from the lawyer about our NOA 1 and hopefully we get it within the week. Wishing that we get routed to CSC, too, but we are really not very anxious on getting approved soon since I have lots to settle first before I join him in the U.S., such as quitting work and coming into terms that I will be leaving everything behind. ? But I'm ready. Anything to be with my baby.

We are just hoping for the process to go smooth. Good luck to us, August filers.

Hi guys. You should also go over to the Philippines regional thread and follow along, as well as a guide I created for those "gothchas" that we all try and avoid. If your Lawyer doesn't stay on top of things it can cause you an rfe and that creates delays. Stay informed and you should ease right on through. Website is in my signature below at the twisting arrow.
