Now I am 100% sure we will get an RFE for my fiance's divorce decree. Well he thought that everything he had are his complete divorce papers. After reading here about divorce decrees - I am very certain we submitted incomplete divorce decree documents. He will be getting a certified copy this week, so RFE you are welcome. A minor bump, I hope.

Did you submit final divorce decrees? Also they don't have to be certified, just copies of the finalized divorce.

Ugh! Our package seems to be stuck in transit since yesterday at 5 AM EST... Or USPS is just horrible at updating their tracking timeline. Getting a bit nervous since it was supposed to arrive within 2 days. I have no experience with the American Postal Service so I have no idea what to expect. I just don't want it to get lost :(

On top of that we (read: I) decided to send it with signature confirmation to the P.O. O. Box which I now realize probably was stupid even though I've seen others make the same 'mistake' however their package still got to the USCIS. My husband to be is now frustrated and I'm worried I made a mistake.

(And yes I know it's "only" been one day without the tracker updating but I'm worried now due to choosing the signature confirmation)

Anybody else that sent their package using USPS to the P.O. Box? How long did it take for your package to arrive? And did you do the signature thing too... sigh

I sent ours just regular priority mail to the normal address in Texas, not the expedited one. I mailed it Monday morning around 9a.m., it got to Texas on Wednesday at 11a.m. I had tracking with it, but no signature confirmation. The system sometimes takes a day to update with where the package is. Check today, you should have some tracking info. USPS is generally pretty efficient (generally) :-)

He submitted all the papers he have pertaining to his divorce. FL 180 page 1 and Marital settlement agreement. He sent me scanned copies but I don't even know what divorce papers suppose to look like. So when i have read RFEs for final divorce decrees, I started reading about it. That's when i know, we submitted the wrong papers.

When i talked to my fiancé about it, he is not even aware that he don't have the complete documents. He said that he used those docs in all his transactions that requires it and never had problems. So since he nevet had it, he will just go and get certified true copies from the courthouse.

Hey! I did the same exact thing and originally the delivery date was 8/17, but then updated it to the 19th. As of yesterday it was delivered so yay, but I haven't gotten any other form of confirmation yet. I'm sure it will be fine! :)

We'll see, they said "2 day delivery" and it has now been 3 days - I'm not impatient, I just want it to arrive safe and secure with the USCIS :joy:

Hello everyone,

I downloaded the USCIS app on my iPhone when I started my K-1 journey, it has become my number 1 source of info on the go regarding my case. Like every morning I checked the app this morning as well to check the status of my case. I found out that the app has this search feature where you can put your receipt number and it can search for all ohter applications that were received and it will show the status of the other applications. I saw that my case was received and that is the current status. Also i saw that cases that have been received later in the order have been already approved. Is this normal? Is it just luck?

Also are there any August or end of July filers that have already received their NOA2 either by email or mail?

It appears to be just luck! I've seen quite a few late July filers (even some who received their NOA1 in August) who have already been approved. It seems that we all applied at just the right time.

As a side note, is there any status between "received" and "approved" that will show on the app? Like a "processing" status so you know that they're working on yours?

No nothing like that, its either approved, rejected, case received, case rejected due to insufficient funds.
