It's just a relationship, and she didn't care about the unfaithfulness, everything was fine there. I just think people get too worked out over a relationship ending, there's billions of people in the world. I use to be that way when I was younger but I realized it takes too much energy and causes too much stress to worry about why a relationship didn't work or to focus on the past. Don't stop fishing because you caught a great fish and it fell out of the boat, just keep fishing like nothing happened. Unfortunately for some it's much hard done than said.

Well good for you to be totally fine if your wife cheated on you. The rest of us are not...

And yeah, we know she didn't care if she was a mistress of a man who cheated. We know she clearly didn't care about his wife and children.

And yeah, we know she didn't care if she was a mistress of a man who cheated. We know she clearly didn't care about his wife and children.

It wasn't her job to worry about his wife and kids. She didn't do anything wrong. I sure hope for your sake nothing ever happens to you with that everyone is perfect attitude, or I'm sure yet another post of cheating or relationships ending will end up online. I personally don't know why people go to the internet for relationship advice, there is no right answer regarding relationships. They start and they end, that is the only sure thing.

The good news is he has not withdraw the application yet. So I think he may still considering this whole thing.

I,m so sorry about your situation. but I really think you have wasted 14 years of your life. You don't need to "convince" anybody to love you! He is a big liar, since from the beginning keep you away from his marriage reality, I even have doubts, he is divorced. So... As hard as it may sound, move on!!! you still have time for something good in your life. Really wish you to wake up!!!

No, not because someone just happened to change their mind from 'something', but because of his lying and deceptiveness for years and years.

Lying to OP and lying to his now ex wife. That is a character flaw one should not make excuses for.

Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

I agree. Having to convince someone to love you and marry you would be like cold soup without flavor. What would be the point !

The wife said they have land in their names and other property ( I assume she has seen paperwork on this) but i dont knw why we jump the gun. Calling him a scum dirt bag etc like their butts OR THEIR S/O are any better.

We all can give advice without insulting the person she loves. There are ways to say "just move on" without letting her feel like she found the worst person yet.

Human beings should worry about the consequences of their actions. It is one thing to be duped into believing that one's partner is single, only to discover he or she is not. It is another to have that knowledge and continue to pursue that relationship notwithstanding.
