Hi everyone - I finally got through to NVC last night and found out that my K1 application left NVC for the consulate on the 10th of June. I am now trying to create an account on the Us travel docs website but it won't let me it just keeps coming up with an error message. Very frustrating -anyone else having this issue?

Ahh! I had to call CBP myself and they helped. We had the wrong number. So we DO have an i94. We already sent in our AOS, too. Great! Now to yell at these people... Lol. Thanks guys! I appreciate it

Allie, it's horrible and leaves a lot unanswered. But if possible try not get too upset since it's totally out of your control. I can't imagine it being along delay. All we can do is hope it's just a couple or few extra days. Will be here for you and everyone else to see it through and celebrate on the other side.

Thank you guys :( Im trying. I literally can't stop crying about this. I just hate it so much. This whole thing is so unfair, and we held it together for so long. It's been 7.5 months since we filed and meanwhile other couples are happily married, while all of our plans could be destroyed by this.. Our Ecuadorian wedding, our honeymoon, all of it. The more time we're apart, the more time and money we waste.. Not to mention the obvious heartache of being apart. There are so many stressful things happening in both of our lives that I so didn't need this.

We didn't get his ticket, but Santy was supposed to be able to get his visa next week. I doubt that they'll have fixed it by then, since they don't work weekends. And why even rush to fix it? They don't care that we've waited this long. It makes it worse that we have no control over it. There's literally nothing I can do, and I'm a wreck. We were just so close, and I have no idea now when it'll end.

Sorry guys... I just had to vent for a minute because this is the only place that I know others will understand how I'm feeling. :'( Waiting for the noa2 was hard, but this news is heartbreaking for us. It makes me feel a little better knowing that we aren't alone in this, but I can't stop feeling so hurt.

Allie, I can only imagine how heartbreaking this is. But I can almost guarantee that DOS is throwing all sorts of resources at this problem. This goes beyond just issuing visas. I don't think this is being taken lightly. They will be working tirelessly to check their systems and confirm they are safe. I am hopeful that this won't be a long lasting issue. They will of course have to dig out of a backlog but I bet the consulates throw extra resources at that, too.

If anything Allie I'm more encouraged that this is a DOS problem rather than the USCIS at this point. At least they are being up front in giving notice and seem to be working on it.

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

03/16/2016 - Status changed for I-485 "Name was Updated" (received text & email 03/17/16 9:30am EST) (Never submitted a name change)

04/15/2016 - Called USCIS & Put in a Service Request online regarding "Name was Updated" status

04/15/2016 - Received email "On March 16, 2016 your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence was approved.We have reviewed our electronic records and found that your Permanent Resident Card (PRC) is already in production." (NO INTERVIEW)

05/05/2016 - Another online service request asking status of PRC

05/18/2016 - Received email saying file was in Sacramento, not Pittsburgh, and it was not approved yet. WHAT?!?!

05/20/2016 - Status changed online to "On May 16, 2016, we ordered your new card"

05/23/2016 - USCIS status change - "On 05/23/2016, we mailed your new card" (text & email)

05/24/2016 - USCIS status change - "On 05/24/2016, USPS picked up your new card" w/ tracking info (text & email)

05/26/2016 - Received card in mail
