Thank you, thank you! I shall continue to call relentlessly!

Yup, keep calling. When you finally get through it will ring once or twice and then what sounds like same recording will start. Do not hang up. This means you're in the queue. I hung up a few times thinking it was the call again message before I decided to listen to it and realized it was the hold on for a person message.

Thank you! It's pretty surreal that I am even here at this point. I thought October was closer to being done from reading all the TSC Fairy emails. I figured another month at least. Just stunned. I feel I can take the NVC any day over the TSC. Lol.

I do as well. I'm happy and sad over this. I wish I could take everyone with me. We have all gone through so much together, I hate leaving them behind.

Quick question about the DS-160...

It asks me about upcoming travel plans, right? What the hell do I put here?! I have no upcoming travel plans to the US besides when it's finally time for me to join my fiancé there for good! Do I guesstimate? That doesn't seem proper. Haha. It won't let me skip it. HALP! I've Googled my little heart out! (I'm not a great Googler, I'll admit...)

Thank you in advance! You are all amazingly beautiful creatures!

So anyone else having this happen at NVC.....? Sometimes when I call the first person on the line will answer all my questions. But other times the first person just confirms my receipt number and immediately says they have to transfer me to someone else (where I sit on hold endlessly). Also, half the time they ask for Daniels name, dob and my name and half the time they don't ask for anything besides receipt number.

NVC is starting to get on my nerves. It's taking way longer than I thought it would.

lol so NVC also doesn't follow standard procedures. They're not so different from USCIS after all. The worst part is when I try to hang up and redial I end up getting the same person who wants to put me on hold again. I want the nice lady Nancy who I talked to yesterday and the day before.

Yep, like I said, hit or miss with NVC! Sometimes they're helpful, and sometimes they're a pain. I never got transferred, though. That's so annoying <_<

Get this, guys... I've received 10, count them TEN, letters from NVC. All saying the exact. same. thing. I keep forgetting to call because, well, I don't feel like being on hold for an hour just to tell them to stop wasting paper and mailing me this stupid approval letter.

Anyways, so no luck getting an earlier interview. Santy's interview is on Monday. So we're hoping to have him over here next week! :D Finally excited for the visa process to end.

And congrats to new NOA2-ers like you, MissPearls! Waiting to see everyone from Oct here :)

Just got off the phone with NVC.. had to redial 4 times but the wait time was literally only 2 seconds! strange! but the guy says they received my case today, his own words, "it is in the building." But said 30 days until I receive a case number. Hopefully it's not 30 days and only a few days for me to get my case number just like you all have.

10 letters Allie??? Lol that is ridiculous.

Tyson, keep trying. Check out my signature for when nvc assigned my number.

I haven't been able to get through to nvc in a couple days so I'm not sure if my file has been sent yet. I think it probably will today or tomorrow just because everything keeps happening on Thursdays and Fridays.
