2 weeks seems like a long time, from what I know it usually takes about 1 week... try calling USCIS and talking t a tier 2 to ask for a tracking number or something like that...

You are right,....Ours to about 10 days or so.....So the need to call NVC ASAP to find out. Anyway GOOD LUCK IN THE JOURNEY

Hey guys! I have a couple of questions, to have a joint sponsor what form does the joint sponsor have to fill out? And is it ok if the joint sponsor makes less then me? Do they combine our income together??

After submitted DS-260. Can I still acess to it ti make change if needed?

It's final, I spoke to NVC 3 times regarding this to make sure. Was told all times to disclose the mistakes in a letter prior to the beginning of the interview that way there is no misrepresentation of information etc.

They will fill out for I864.

If you are under poverty level, your sponsor has to make above that level for the size of household.

Your income is not combined, is looked at individually.

Got off the phone with NVC, was told cases are taking 45 days to review!!!!

Why this thread is abandoned? I think most have moved to " Scan dates and Case Complete" thread...Good to every one waiting for CC. and congrats to those who got their CCs

its not, things get slow on holidays and weekends....and since there hasn't been much movement lately the thread got buried.

After submitted DS-260. Can I still acess to it ti make change if needed?

not to the form itself but you can write the nvc noting the mistake and providing documentation just to prove it was a legit error. For example I noticed a mistype with the date of my former marriage, so I sent in a letter outlining the mistake and an additional copy of the marriage certificate (even though they already had one). I did this to make things easier for them. One never knows who is looking at the mail and the correction, so to avoid any further delays I figured it was best to provide as much info as possible. be sure to put your case number in the subject line in your letter or email and on the documentation. good luck.

The expiration date you see is the expiration of the comment period to the Office of Management and Budget, the form itself does not expire and can be used.

Hey guys/Saylin... I need some advice. I have been in Canada with my husband (whom I'm sponsoring) and our three children. We are trying to decide whether the kids and I should return to Florida before his interview to prove domicile. I currently have the following to prove it without being in Florida for the interview

-storage unit receipts and history from last summer when I put all of our personal belongings in storage

-bank account statements and credit card statements

-voter registration/ maintained florida drivers license

-application to extend temporary visitor status in Canada

-letter from previous employer and boss stating their confidence and belief in my ability to obtain a job earning a minimum starting salary of $45000

-current vehicle registration in florida

-social security statement

-report of us citizen birth abroad for our daughter born in canada last summer

-statement from mother stating we are more than welcome to stay with her for as long as needed to ind a suitable rental or purchase a home

- emails from schools for registration of our children

-former auto insurance emailed quote

Just curious if anyone can tell me if this will be enough or if I physically need to go back to the states with our children before the interview in Montreal. I don't know if this matters, but we do have a joint sponsor. Thanks!
