now nvc takes 30 days to review pacakages?

yes, that has been their latest time reference, provided you have mailed them in and have no checklist.

it is said that this won't be the norm for long as the DACA's should be hitting the system soon which will backlog the system again.

I have another question (I know I am so lost  )... We have to include in our packages a request for update because last name of beneficiary changed. So we were thinking of listing it in our AOS Cover Letter and just putting it in that package (seems to prevent from getting lost) or - the second option - placing it on top of our two packages. What is better and make it less confusing for NVC people? :)

The expiration date you see is the expiration of the comment period to the Office of Management and Budget, the form itself does not expire and can be used.

Thanks !

What is the DACA? And do you know when it should hit the NVC system? Im kind of worry.

check these out for more info.....don't worry, its not like you can change anything....best to channel your energies 'praying' that you get done before the influx hits nvc.

Seems like USCIS won't accept application until mid May. And it should be at least 5 months at USCIS before it can reach NVC. Am i right?

Good luck to everyone awaiting CCs. Prayers are with you all. Good luck to all those waiting for interviews (like me)! Good luck to everyone that has interviews! All the ones in AP (like Janelle and Soloenta, just to name a few) hoping and praying this month is the month you all shine and get something going with your cases. Special prayers for you all in AP.

Awwwwww you are soo sweet!! Thank you! (L)(F):luv:

correct, however who knew nvc was going to process cc in less than 30 days (like they are now)? no one can predict their next steps. mass hiring at uscis could lessen the process putting an overload on nvc. there was a time csc was spitting out noa2's in 2 weeks! so hard to predict what they will/can do so its best not to worry and focus on the here and now. let's all hope to be done nvc by april's end.

pray, pray, and pray some more :)

They will fill out for I864.

If you are under poverty level, your sponsor has to make above that level for the size of household.

Your income is not combined, is looked at individually.

Got off the phone with NVC, was told cases are taking 45 days to review!!!!

Someone answered you michelle.

I have a quick question. I submitted both my AOS and IV packet at the same time. I included an AOS scan sheet in each packet, but I only put the document checklist in the AOS packet. I guess I assumed it covered both the AOS and IV documents, so I didn't copy and put one in each packet. Someone had mentioned that this might cause a checklist. Has anyone made this mistake and gotten a checklist? I am so frustrated....I checked over the packet so many times, just didn't think to put two!

Someone answered you michelle.

I'm still confused, my brother makes 18 every year. With my income it's around 40.000. But he doesn't live with me he lives next door. Can I use him? I asked a friend of mine who sponsored his parents but years ago, he said " that on the same form there is a question where it says would you like to add additional sponosrs? And he added his sister and she was making less then him. Can I do that?
