I don't understand this. What exactly happened? I called them a LOT! And every time I called, it was very simple and easy to ask the tier1 to transfer me, they were always willing to transfer. So it must be something.

I actually did not need to speak to Tier-2. I had only talked to Tier-1 and put my e-request then about 6 days later I received RFE dated 3 days after I made a call. So, I think it is vary.

yeap no news for me either. Tried to connect to tier 2 again today, got transferred but with a 3 way call with my husband, I could not press any buttons to get transferred to a representative. So the call disconnected

 

8/22/15 Received notice of interview "call in letter" for September 1st 8am

9/01/15 AOS Interview Houston-APPROVED!

9/01/15 Card in production, Welcome notice has been mailed

9/05/15 Welcome Notice Received

9/08/15 Greencard was mailed

9/10/15 GREENCARD RECEIVED!!!!!!!!

Congrats to the latest approvals! Can anyone tell me why it's taking up to 2 months to receive the green card after being approved?

How long has it taken everyone to receive theirs lately after their approval?

On average it's about a week to ten days from approval to card in your hand.

Derwood, did you have a date on your approval notice? both mine and Girls' had an expected date of receiving the GC 2 months away!

We got approved our GC on July 1st and received on July 10th ( even-though it says you will get your card on august 26 lol) its just a formalities. You will receive it earlier then what they say on web. woohooo Good luck to all.

Did you receive the welcome letter?

I have read on here numerous times that a tracking number is placed on the USCIS website/emailed to the AOS'er prior to receiving the greencard.
