Does anyone know how long does it take to review the NVC documents? I know the nvc are swamped (at least thats what they said) but its ridiculous that they cant even give me any info about my petition other than I have to wait for 60 days. Today is my 55th out of 60 days since scanned date and the operator told me to call them back next month! So mad right now!!

hi,

i posted this couple days ago but i didn't get an answer, so i try to ask here, maybe someone can help me cuz this is REALLY stressing me out...even more than the uscis process :(

My hubby filed I-130 for me and my daughter, USCIS assigned two case numbers. My case was approved couple days ago but i still didn't hear anything about my daughters case, send a e-request and got this for an answer " Thank you for your inquiry. Your case is currently being adjudicated. "

Now i'm confused, does it mean my case is shipped to nvc but my daughter is still at USCIS? How does it work? Maybe someone can help me out here, i'm so stressed out :(

PLEASE HELP ME

Does anyone else find the guy who says "all of our representatives are busy with other callers...." Who always interrupts the other hold people really rude and annoying? He's louder than the others, and always seems to cut in while someone else is giving their speech. Seriously, they can't even manage to have a courteous hold message. I wish they just had music, every time I hear that they "know my time is valuable" I want to throw my phone. The first time I heard that, I laughed.

I would suggest to give USCIS a call, only they can give you a better explanation.

Does anyone else find the guy who says "all of our representatives are busy with other callers...." Who always interrupts the other hold people really rude and annoying? Yep, I had to keep adjusting the volume each time at work. but for me it was the lady, maybe they changed it up :bonk:

The reps just say this! Some are just so tired of their jobs, they don't wanna talk to people so just give out absurd advice :bonk:

Just call back and a nicer rep will give you an answer. I did that a few times myself

I just looked this up a bit for you (Disclaimer: I don't really know anything about the process of filing multiple I-130s). You file one I-130 for each eligible relative, though, so your husband must have filed two I-130s/paid two fees, right? Was everything in the same package? Each I-130 has a different case number always, so yes, it would seem your daughter's case is still pending at USCIS and hasn't been approved. Your case is not going to progress at NVC until you take action, though (it's just going to be assigned an NVC case number), so you could wait until they're both at NVC.

How old is your daughter? I'm really not sure if the cases are automatically "joined" at NVC and if so, how? It seems like they would have to be approved at the same time. If they're separated you will have two NVC case numbers, but I THINK you can call and ask them to join them once you have both? You should really check on VJ and message someone that has filed multiple I-130s though. Sorry I can't be of more help, but as some other member said I would also start by calling/emailing USCIS.

3. we have 2 case numbers

my daughter is 14 years old

i tried to google it and check here but i didn't find anything :( i keep trying

my husband called the uscis number but there is only a robot, how do i get a human on the phone?
