Well I tried to post this 3hours ago when it was deleted :/ But I do want to take this opportunity to say I am thankful for the fact that I am still living to see this day. It's been a rough few weeks for me and I have had so many family and close friends to comfort me and show me love which I am eternally grateful for. It's been 2 weeks since our CC yet, there is still no interview scheduled. Nevertheless, I thank God that I have so much faith that I know my husband will be coming home soon. As I write this, I think of the many spouses whose loved ones are gone, or living in dangerous places to the point where their lives can be taken in an instant. Those are the same spouses who live and doubt and may not have the opportunity to ever see their spouse. I am also grateful for Visa Journey. I have sat in silence many a days reading what others have gone through with their spouses due to this immigration alone and it is comforting to know that we are not alone and others very much

Thank you for your well wishes Solenta, I am just having some issues with unethical supervisors at work that caused me to have a breakdown....But I know as long as God is in control so it's not a battle I have to fight. Thank you for your well wishes I appreciate your concern. I'm just doing my best to be thankful things are not worse. I will be praying and having faith that God will pull you, I and everyone who is honest and sincere in this process (and not just marrying for visa's) through. Just as the Word says in James 5:16 "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."

Your very welcome my friend and again beautifully put. I don't have words to express how I feel about the people that marry only for a visa it's just horrible and hurts the ones like us that marry for love not profit. There isn't enough money in the world to make me want to do that!

I was always taught that God does a much better job at making those that deserve punishment pay. :D

Thank you so much and I will continue to pray for everyone also.

September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)

November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
