Have you tried calling them at the NVC to see if your packages were scanned in? I have been going off of when they scan it. After scanning your package in, it has been taking about 12-13 business days for them to review it. So you can use that timeline to see when you can expect a Case Complete.

Hope this helps!

yes i called last thursday to ask abt my case status and if they get my AOS mail(deleivred 21 april) the rep said i can see here that (he was reading his screen ) we have everything we need from you just we need the supervisor to check it !! its been 1 month ??? is this mean they reviewed and accepted already !!?

Now all I picture is agents running to the bins and grabbing a handful of envelopes and running back to their desks, dropping marriage certificates and police records along the way... Not cool lol

I actually think the NVC does a pretty good job, -- we all enter into their "track" after waiting an enormous amount of time with apparently no progress while we wait for the USCIS to approve our petition. We kind of have a bad taste in our mouth as we walk in...

But once the NVC center gets it- things move pretty quickly, I know there is always room for improvement and I have seen some posts that "feel" like personal attacks - not this one by the way- I did a little searching on line and I found out that the NVC has some pretty strict work schedules, I cut and past a few of the "disgruntled" employees and keep in mind that these are disgruntled employees and the happy and successful employees usually do not verbalize their feelings. (like restaurant reviews)--

I found this interesting-- - and I cant wait for this to be behind me... I hope someone figures out how to fix this situation -- our TRIP through the visa process is a short time in comparison to people who work in it for year after year..

You get treated like your still in junior high school, if not worse.

It doesn't matter if you do your job effectively and efficiently.

Management wants to nitpick and only talks to you when they want to

gripe about something that correlates to treatment you received in

school. Some times you have to just laugh it off and joke with others

to keep your sanity. Everybody seems too when it is break. Management

and team leaders aren't held to the same standards- womanizing,

settling sexual harassment suits while others get fired due to

downsizing or barely missing quota, clowning around, etc... Yet go and

talk to someone on company time for 15 seconds when your surpassing

quota and quality expectations, leave for the bathroom too long....

and off to the principal's office you go!

The benefits and compensation have even diminished. Layoffs abound.

Quality of work only matters when the work dries up at the same annual

segments of the year. Then your on the hook. The hypocrisy is just

amazing. The government is to blame due to the overspending in recent

years why the company is so cheap. But the company is more to blame

for some of the aforementioned things that plague the NVC's work

environment. It is funny to hear the management spout on about doing

this and that to retain the contract, when in reality all the

employees always talk earnestly about wanting the contract to go

bye-bye, as the management would be the first to go

If you wondered where the people from Walmart work - they work at the

National Visa Center in Portsmouth NH. The 'NVC' is a one story

warehouse with a few offices around the inner circle of the building.

The outer perimeter is where the downtrodden staff and low level

supervisors nest. Most of this dank warehouse houses a factory filled

with dirty crates of endless applications from all over the world from

desperate people who want to come to America. There are a few 'suits'

in here but the rest of this dismal hellhole is filled with people

with vacant stares who are just putting in their time and can't wait

to punch out. The manager of the case processing unit looks like an

old bar slinger from way back. Her office was a filthy mess and she

calls staff in there on a regular basis to criticize and demean them.

I can't believe the government knows what is actually going on here.

Visitors from out in the world do come here on occasion, but they are

kept away from the grim reality of this place, and are holed up in the

board room watching propaganda videos where the 'suits' make speeches

about what a fabulous place this is to work. I had heard the nightmare

stories but had to learn it for myself. The NVC is a soul destroyer.

I worked there for 3 years and it was the most depressing time of my

life. I was an awesome worker there but yet lousy workers always got

promotions and not the ones working hard. The managers treat you like

garbage and if they can save a dollar by firing someone who has worked

there 15 years or 1 year they will, I have seen this happen plenty of

times. I urge people not to work at this place as it really can make

your life miserable

I would like to say thank you to the people who have helped me along the way, not only the people I have met here at VJ, but also anyone and everyone who has moved my case along--- I do not know if I will ever understand the 7 month WAIT at the USCIS, and WHY -- my wife can not come visit me here in the USA while we process her application-- but as I said, my limited exposure to this system even as personal as it is- is small in comparison and I am sure there are reasons for things that we do not understand or are to emotionally involved to comprehend.
THAT SAID---
PLEASE get me out of here!!!! lol

I don't think the NVC does a good job. I received THREE checklists for things that were all right to begin with. First was for tax info (which was correct and I sent in the exact same I864 again which was then accepted), then for proof of employment (which I was at first told I didn't need and to send a letter saying I'm quitting my job, but was then told [by my senator] that I do need to send it in), and finally for my marriage certificate which I sent in that was certified.

I'm always extremely polite with the people on the phone. I know it's, for the most part, not their fault the NVC up my life so bad. But I'm angry. I'm angry at this entire process. And so far, there has not been a single part of this process that has went smoothly for me. Not a single part. Even though I have done EVERYTHING RIGHT. Every. damn. thing.

So excuse me for being bitter and needing to put my anger towards something.

---

Just talked to Tory (?) (maybe Joy?) I think at NVC. She was very rude, but I was polite as always. I explained my situation and she begrudgingly agreed to put my case through with a supervisor. Who knows if that will help or hurt. By now I'm just ###### sick of everything.

:wow: Happy Anniversary!

I started this immigration process March 25,2013. so I've been waiting longer than 1 year. its been 1 year and 1month, currently.

don't know if anyone else had this problem but. my husband got pcc from bangalore and it was shipped and delivered to nvc on may 9. when i called nvc on may 15, they stated that they received the package on may 12. but then i called yesterday, may 19. and the rep stated they have have a packet from may 12 and then they received another packet on may 16. but my husband only sent one package with the copy of the passport with the pcc stamped and the original pcc document... so i'm clueless as to what the second package is.. anyways all of our other documents were accepted. got checklisted for his court record, which we submitted and they accepted and then received another checklist on may 13, regarding pcc, which they have already, so when it is a good day for me to call to hear the words case complete? any suggestions. we have been patient, and it has been hard... not easy. thanks to fellow vj'ers for your assistance and input.

This ENROLL process is driving me crazy, I sent my email on April 18 and I still haven't gotten the acceptance email from them.

I've tried calling all day yesterday and all day today and I can't seem to get through either. I don't know if it's google voice that is the problem or something else. But I've called them in the past using google voice and it seemed to work fine then. I'm about sick of the NVC and their outdated methods.

Many times it didn't work for me google voice and then I used Skype and it worked. Who knows why, I am waiting for you to get your enroll email ( I am watching you , LOL)

"This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted. If you believe you have received this message in error, or to resume processing of the case, please contact the NVC immediately."

I am sure this is an error and did anyone else got this message? I guess I have to call them again and I hope its just an error message.

yes i called last thursday to ask abt my case status and if they get my AOS mail(deleivred 21 april) the rep said i can see here that (he was reading his screen ) we have everything we need from you just we need the supervisor to check it !! its been 1 month ??? is this mean they reviewed and accepted already !!?

You probably already have Case Complete since the last time you called. Wait until the end of this week to call again because meanwhile you might get a Case Complete email.

My revised aos was scanned on May 2nd. Talked to them today - still not reviewed...everything else has been accepted...

Ugh... Mine was May 5th. So that means I shouldn't hold my breathe for a CC by tomorrow. Let me know when you do get a CC because that means mine should follow soon after.

how do we know if our documents were "scanned" or not. Last time i called, they said they have two packages waiting to be reviewed. one received on May 8th and the second on may 15th. Do those dates mean that's when they were scanned?

The receiving means "scanned" :)

Wow I finally got through by calling on my landline. Good thing my parents have free long distance lol

I talked to Rose and she said that yes emails are taking 30 days to be looked at and she had no record of my ENROLL email.

She told me to just start sending in my documents and I will be automatically be enrolled when they get to them. Sounds good I'm not about to argue with that.

I would like to just send my Emails in now also. But in China you have to wait for the Case Numbers to change from GUZxxxxxxxxxx To GZOxxxxxxxxx. So I have to wait now to get the confirmation email that changes the NVC number. Then I have to wait another 30 days for them to open the Emails with the Doc's in them and process that. Also I have to wait to do the DS-260 online until I get the GZO numbers, so it is just wait now like the wait for the first NVC case numbers and IIN. I have asked if i can just send the doc's with the GUZxxxxxxxxx numbers now, but I am told that will delay this train wreck even more. But they can let you pay the fees with the GUZ numbers they will change that. I'm not sleeping well, I keep waking up from night mares that I can't finish the papers.
