I got CC on 15-May-2014 and the last mail I sent (IV docs) was enterred in the system 28-Apr-2014

Good luck all

Since they get 1000's of packages a day.. I wonder how many get reviewed daily? it takes them 2 days from delivery to scan. And do they separate the checklist mail from the initial mail? Maybe they have different departments reviewing different types of mail. OR maybe it goes into one big pool of documents and they just grab whatever they can hold and run back to their desks.... I guess it may depend on how fast each person works. I hate not knowing !!

Just got my NVC case number today (or yesterday, not sure. Didn't have it last Friday either way). Anyway, I got the case number and IIN number. My attorney has been notified as well. I just sent the enroll e-mail but I've been hearing that it takes awhile for them to even get around to enrolling you -_- Anyway, anyone have a recent example to go off of?

We are an MTL beneficiary, so I sent the "ENROLL MTLXXXXXXXXX" e-mail to the NVCElectronic e-mail and received the following response:

This email is an auto response. Please do not respond.

Dear Sir or Madam,

This email address collects scanned forms and documents ONLY. We do not respond to inquiries from this email. If you submitted scanned forms and documents, we will send you more instructions as soon as we review your case.

If you did not submit scanned forms or documents, we will delete your email. If you have a question about your case, please contact us by email or phone.

Be sure to include the following information with each inquiry:

* Your case number;

* The Principal applicant's name and date of birth;

* The Petitioner's name; and

* If your visa petition is employment-based, the employer's company or organization name.

Email: nvcinquiry@state.gov

Type your case number in the subject line and ask about only one case per email.

Phone: (603) 334-0700

Customer Service Representatives are available Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight (Eastern Time).

This ENROLL process is driving me crazy, I sent my email on April 18 and I still haven't gotten the acceptance email from them.

I've tried calling all day yesterday and all day today and I can't seem to get through either. I don't know if it's google voice that is the problem or something else. But I've called them in the past using google voice and it seemed to work fine then. I'm about sick of the NVC and their outdated methods.

Can someone help/ advice ??

I mailed my IV packet along with all originals and certified copies but I forgot to include a cover sheet.

I had all the original documents, and now I am worried that it might get lost.

Also over here,

http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/submit/how-to-submit-documents-to-the-nvc.html#GroupC

it says to say attn. DR so I said that instead of CMR if I would have attached a cover sheet. What do those departments mean?

I realize my mistake but what do I do now?

I emailed NVC and anxiously waiting for their reply. What do you think might happen?

Any reply/ past experience will be greatly appreciated.

I am a US citizen petitioned for my wife.

I had a same problem with my friend and India while giving Visa and also In port of entry there was so much problem they created .

You can go to pass office and change it .It is easy and they will just correct .

thanks ..i will try to go to the passport office and change the name ...

another question .. wat if i just add my last name on her passport ...would that make a difference...

since she is married she can put my last name in her passport now ....

would her passport number get changed if that happens ....or it remain the same ...

i am really confused .....

and i was about to send in IV package .....and ds260

should i just wait for the new passport and then do it

or do it right now with same passport and then just take the new passport in the interview ..?

Wow.

I almost regret even sending the EP enroll e-mail. So much for thinking it would save time. Yikes.
