Soo i lied and i called this Am

I was (by cindy i think). They have documents for me checked in on 5/16

She said i should hear somerhing by june 26

What!!!! Then she said they are working overtime .

I guess june 26 would be close to the 30 days

Tommrow makes one year since i started this

Fingers crossed it dont take until june 26

Would love a july interview.

Hello everyone I have a question.

our case was completed on May 09, but whenever I log in to the CEAC portal, I see that AOS section is showing N/A and also the section for civil documents in DS-260 is showing N/A. Is this normal? Can anybody please confirm?

mine looks the same. Don't worry about it! it is a glitsh in the "new and improved" system.

Completely normal. It seems like they made a system update and aren't going to backfill data for people who already had items completed prior to the system change. My SO has visa in hand and our fields all say N/A as well. No worries

You'd think they would prioritize fixing issues like that and the "in process of termination" screen. They must get so many panicked phone calls just because their systems are rubbish! NVC is probably still running Windows 95

Hello guys, congratulations for all whose case got completed or interview is scheduled! NVC received my case in 16 May (12 days ago) and planing to call them and check if case number is assigned for next Monday!

Just an update,

I finally got a reply to my email that I sent May 5th (embassy change request), they are now taking my case off hold and should be able to pay my fees now ( I am thinking a day or two), the email mentioned I should get an email regarding further processing of my petition, can not wait to start moving......

Unfortunately we all know way to well they don't always know what they're talking about. Everyone says it's a good sign so it must be since everyone

here knows much more than those we talk to at NVC. Your in my prayers sweet heart and I'm sure all will be well. Just take a deep breath try to relax then call back tomorrow see if someone else knows better.

I completely agree. They can spare themselves the hassle of handling so many panicked callers if only they can fix the portal,

I read several messages ago that people were waiting to be able to download 2013 Federal tax transcripts. I was able to log in this morning and print them. Just an FYI. NVC received my case on May 6 and I have called weekly. Based on what I am reading it seems we are headed towards the over 30day period to received case numbers. Just like all of you all I can do in the meantime is prepare my docs and WAIT.

Hi Everyone,

Not sure if someone could help me. I just realized that I forgot to include my Form 2555 with my original AOS package that was receipted in on May 15th, 2014.

Should I send it off tomorrow or wait for a checklist that will come in the next 1-2 weeks.

If I should send it, do I need to send my entire package again, or just the additional documentation with the bar code cover sheet, cover letter and letter of clarification?

I can imagine the turmoil you're feeling over this. I'm not sure what you should do, but from spending a few months on this thread, I believe others have suggested sending off a new entire package quickly, so that they get it into the queue for review sooner .. instead of waiting for a checklist.

I'm currently living in Rwanda with my husband. His I-130 was approved on May 17, 2014 and we are awaiting the NVC stage. I received an email from USCIS saying that they mailed our accepted case to NVC on May 22, 2014. I followed the instructions on the NVC website regarding how to enroll in the email updates. Is this enough for them to inform me whether the case was received and to get my case number? Or, do I need to call. It's difficult being that I am located in Rwanda and I called at least 30 times yesterday and received nothing but a busy signal.

I guess to get to the point, when I see the dates that people received their case numbers and notification of case arrival to NVC, were you notified by calling? Or do they send this information in a timely manner via email?

Hi, glad to join the May NVCers. Our I-130 is done after over a year of processing. Now we're just waiting for the NVC to receive our case. I called their number from Shanghai, where I'll be working for a while, and I just get a busy tone. Granted this was at 10PM EST, not exactly off peak. Is this normal? Or am I just dialing the number wrong?

Good morning!

Don't think I will be calling today. Doubt they'll have my case complete yet. Yesterday when I spoke to Yvette she said that they didn't have any specific time for when they would start scheduling July interviews.

Hoping to hear good news from the rest of you today. There are some of you that I am stalking because we have the same dates or close to the same dates that we sent packages in.
