I did applied for k3 after the I-130 and now it is about to be 7 months and no aproval too,so guys don't bother yourself appliying for k3

Same here, got the notice that A number was changed on the I129 case on Apr 25, like a week after they received the petition, but nothing since then. I saw somewhere here that that A number change notice was a glitch in their system - IDK, but my thinking so far is that K3 is rarely processed anymore, and in our case useless....

i'll e-mail public.engagement@uscis.dhs.gov and let you all know if i get anywhere with that....

Yes it was a K-1 in our case. No one is comparing. You seem like an angry person.

I am trying to save you a little grief. If you look back in this thread, you can see that another K-1 filer did the same thing and about 1 million angry CR-1 people piled on to them and told them not to post here. Also, if not to compare, then why did you post that? "Angry" or not I am just trying to help.

Unfortunately, I have seen this over the years... When there is a big backlog, they start to process the most recent files mind-blowingly fast to manipulate the numbers so it shortens the posted wait times... I have a feeling that there are going to be a few more of these "anomalies " in the coming weeks (so the wait times drop on paper) before they start working on the backlog I earnest. Yes, it sucks and it NOT fair in the slightest and Should, not be done! But it is how the system disfunction's currently.

The silver lining is that after they clear some super "short termers" getting approved they start to make real progress on the older cases... These anomalies are usually a predecessor for real progress...

Now, Don't hate on the applicants, it's just one of those luck of the draw things and Should not diminish the support they receive from this VJ community.

"thedude"s petition went to Vermont too.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/466027-vermont-service-center/

I had a feeling that newly (end of Oct- now) filed petitions would be getting approved super fast.

Sigh.

I completely share your opinion Blueberry Pancake... super mega fast and we're still waiting cray5ol.gif

I just loved the way you discussed this post and certainely " the silver lining is that after they clear some super "short termers" getting approved they start to make real progress on the older cases... ". It's really hopeful and I just wanted to thank you Christeen smile.png
