Good to know that NBC is the one that is manufacturing cards now.

Can someone help me how to write to a congressman about green card? Cud mine is like almost 5 months and I haven't receive any

Find your congressman/woman here based on your zipcode: http://www.house.gov/representatives/find/

And then usually somewhere in the menu, it says contact me, or perhaps they have a section regarding immigration and how you can get in touch. Mine responded within about 2 days with a phone call. Good luck!

Still no updates since July 17th when the case status changed to tell us they were producing the card. Fingers crossed something changes by the end of the month. Can't believe my husband's been here a month already! And to think we waited so long :)

Mine took 11 days from start of production to delivery. It did say to allow up to a month or so, it's been 12 days for you so I wouldn't panic just yet. The status will probably update in the next couple of days anyway. :-)

Thanks for going back to your thread and saying how it went. It helps others in the same situation as yours, whether they read it now and search for similar situation in the future. :)

My pleasure!!

I lined up on a regular line for ESTA/visitors upon my arrival Guam and told an agent that I came here for pleasure along with my family and to proceed my immigrant visa for further production.

He was very kind and totally understood the procedure about immigrant visa. I got stamped with visa status IR1 on my passport then the agent called a CBP agent and was advised of taking care of it by him.

I followed him and advised to wait until paper operation works.

I remembered it took about 15 minutes to end up everything. He understood I need to go back to my country after this pleasure travel so he asked me a couple of questions "when are you going to move to this address (U.S.)?" "What is your husband doing?" "Are you and your husband living together now?" Some kind.

Also advised "please contact USCIS if you moved to another address while waiting your GC arrives."

He explained details about immigrant visa.

I was feeling so comfy while going through. Everything went well. I spent wonderful time with my parents and sister in there and got back to my country. Thanks VJs.

Hello VJs -

I don't know where I post this topic but I'm just wondering if this is a decent travel or not.

I got interviewed for IR1 visa on June 29 and duly received back my passport with visa and the package and paid completely immigrant fee $165 through online USCIS last week.

One question - I meant to POE at San Fransisco for moving to the U.S. some time in October or November but I just want to travel to Guam on private before moving out.

Can I submit the package for processing GC issue to Guam CBP upon my arrival immigration and get back to my county??

I understand anywhere POE should be fine that is one of international airport in U.S. Territory.

Hope this is not a stupid one.

Thank you and appreciated your advice.
