I think people should start hiring NLR, cos she acts like an immigrantion specialist, by responding to people's questions and hope on ELis case. cos she knows much about how elis works and how to deal with them. Love u NLR! Cos u answered so many of my questions too and the hope!

Agree! it's so nice to get help on VJ from experienced users. USCIS is full of worthless people.

@NLR. How come, cos i was suppose to get the delivery of my card today, but when i tracked with the tracking number online, it's the same update, since it left kansas city Mo on monday. And on transit to destination. Is this normal pls? Cos many people get their card the following day it sent. It still says online that, expected delivery day, today 5th of july........

Hey guys, it's been a while! I got my green card back in April and thought that was that (at least until ROC, I guess) but I just got a status update from USCIS saying "On August 6, 2015, we mailed your new card for Receipt Number IOEXXXXXXXXXX, to the address you gave us." Needless to say I haven't ordered or shouldn't be getting a new card. I know the USCIS update system glitches a lot but haven't heard of that for card mailing updates. I'm going to keep an eye on it and see what happens, but has anyone had this happen to them?

EDIT: Just checked the ELIS site as well and that doesn't show any updates, so a glitch most likely.

Hello everyone, my spouse received his visa more than a month ago and the IV Category says CR-1 and we have been married for 3 years now. So the green card is still being produced. Does that mean we're gonna get the 2 year card and not the 10 year card? I called the USCIS hoping to get an idea of what type of green card we will get and she said I have to wait until the green card comes. What do you guys think? What type of green card are we gonna get?

Hello-

I believe that should go for IR1. I have duly received IR1 under same situation as yours.

My visa status has been set up as CR1 since submitted visa application but it was approved on IR1 as 2 years and 3 weeks passed after our marriage when I got interviewed.

I think you should better to ask USCIS to revise and review the status. Go for it!

I don't know, I don't work for USPS. It normally takes 2 days from shipping to get the card. Sometimes up to a week. why? I haven't a clue.

You should get an IR1 if the beneficiary entered after the 2 year anniversary. If it's not IR1 then send it back.

That's what I'm hoping for, but the green card hasn't come yet. Aaah it's been over a month, and I'm constantly checking the status. Thanks for your reply!

That's what I'm hoping for, guess I have to wait until the green card comes. And yea I plan to contact them if I receive anything but an IR1. Thanks!

You don't contact them persay, you send an I-90, the green card, and proof of entry after said date.
