If you all remember, about a week ago I started a very controversial thread here about doing some possible abortion 6 months of a baby that my fiance has that is not mine, etc. First of all, you have to excuse me for not knowing anything about birth, and actually thinking that at 6 months it's still an embryo.

Anyways, now we are doing a complete 180 degree turn. Now I am contemplating writing my name on the child's birth certificate, which would in theory make it much easier to take it with us to where I am. Otherwise, the real father who absolutely despises the mother and in summary pretty much impregnated her against her will to keep her away from me, will never sign that permission. However, since no DNA test has been done, what are going to be the repercussions of me saying I am the father? What basis does the real father have to request a DNA test (can't any man in the world request one, in that case?). Worst that happens is they allow the DNA test, it is proven I am not the father, and we say we thought I was... or no?

I could write I am the father. The baby would travel with the mother to live with me. I assume that once the baby is in the U.S., I doubt the father would get anywhere with a DNA test.

Also, what is the process of writing in my name on the birth cert? I was with her about 10 months ago, but the baby is only 6.5 months, so technically they could realize it wasn't me... if they decided to check my passport entry stamps, etc., at the hospital. Also, could my name be put on the birth certificate while I am abroad?

Any advice appreciated. Please note the context of the situation. Please note that we have in writing from the father that he does not want to have anything at all to do with the baby. I am trying to think of creative ways to resolve a nightmare. Thank you.

I didn't see the other thread, so I'm still reeling over the idea that someone could think abortion at 6 months would ever be considered.

Anyway - ditto what was said about the DNA test. You can't pull a fast one on USCIS/Dept. of State in this regard - sorry. Not even sure why you'd want to but hey.

Good morning,

To answer your question can/should you falsely add your name as the father to the child's birth paper. NO, do not falsely add your name to this child's papers. You do not need to falsifed records if the indicent was reported as a rape. The courts can terminate the fathers rights if the mother request it so based on the fact that this birth was of the result of a rape.

I am only stating rape because this was how you describe the incident.

I a going to re-post a statemet you made just last week;

"The other consideration is to have the baby, but the baby would never come to the U.S. with us and would essentially grow up with my fiance's mother and we would financially support it. This is all sounds absurd, but this is the bind we are in. I made it clear to here she can do whatever she feels is best for her, but there's no way I am taking that baby into my direct care, ever. "

Base on this statement you are not truly ready to take on the responsible for this child, I hope that both you and the mother can get some counseling and with this counseling you can have a true heart felt change to care for this innoncent human being.

Yes, I do understand that this is a truly hard place you are finding yourself in right now, but please move carefully.

This pregnancy will be a big red-flag in your case, you'll will have to answer questions surrounding this at the interview.

Be bless in all of your decisions. (F)

Please ....there are so many wrongs in this thread too. Not only you are trying to fool the government by fraud....." which would in theory make it much easier to take it with us to where I am."

Your actually asking advice on VJ on how to do it????

FYI Obama supports partial birth abortion

Switching to fraud is not much better...well, yes it is better, but still fraud. Why not get the baby a K-2 visa? Seems like the contemplated cure is worse than the disease.

If my fiance in Colombia has a child and the child's father is also Colombian and gives his consent for child leaving the country, will the authorities check to see that the father consenting is indeed the father?

In other words, if my fiance has a baby, and a man who is Colombian but not the real father is listed on the birth certificate (by accident, let's say), and then that man consents to the child leaving, will the authorities check to make sure he is the real father?

I have no idea why you keep making posts about doing illegal things or lying. In Off Topic, you mention you want to write your name on the baby's birth certificate even though you aren't the father.

Now you're wondering what would happen if the wrong name got written "by accident"?

Please.

VJ is not the place to go for advice on how to lie to the government.

You have 0 idea what you are talking about, nor do you know what the situation actually is. Or do you?

Yes, we do. Why do you take the correct path, if this violation was reported to the police, ask the courts to intervine and give the mother full cutody rights. This way the father will have no legal or parental rights.

You are asking us how to help you to committe fraud.
