We filed for a K-1 previously, and the wait time listed was about 3 months. Now if I search the CA service center, it lists 5 months!! Is this accurate, does anyone know? Has anyone filed recently? What was your experience?

a friend of mine got his philippino fiance here in dec...his wait time was a little over 5 months

mostly it reaches 5-6 months. But if you got RFE it will take like 6-8 months depends on how fast you reply for the RFE. GOD bless you and hope you will get your approval soon!! :) :)

5 months to NOA2 is a little lengthy. It always says that. I think mine took about 2-3. Seems I stared in June and had her here in Early Nov. It varies. good luck

Uhhh, not right now. CSC and VSC are currently only approx 10% complete on January petitions... both averaging 5 months as it stands to date. See Igors list under Immigration Times for more information. Or view the pissed off thread under case updates for January...

Help? Probably not, but they are the only ones who can give you specific information on your case.

It's been 5 months and 4 days for you, you are still within normal processing times... so there isn't much you can do yet, other than keep waiting, I'm afraid blush.gif

Fill in your timeline and you will see an estimate of when your petitionn will be adjudicated. The estimate will be based on tabulated data from other VJ member's timelines As long as I've been on this site it takes on average 5 to 6 months for members to get an approval on an I-129F. Some come sooner and some come later.

I really don't think the summer season is going to slow anything down...or speed anything up.

"Stay calm and prepare for the next step" was the best advice we were given while waiting (11 months) for my wife's visa. I'd offer the same to everyone else who is anxiously waiting now.

Good luck!
