And also, they want me to submit the vaccination supplement, that means that it needs to be transcribed right? Do i have to translate it, or is that what the surgion general does? I really dont know what transcribed means, but a woman told me that that was what i had to do with alfredo's vaccination records that he brought from mexico. Has anybody done this? What do they do/what do i have to do?

Does anybody know if the I-864, affidavit of support, I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust status, I-131 Advanced Parole Travel Permission, and the I-765 application for employment authorization has to be notarized ?????

Hi,

I am flying to the US with my hubby on Thursday. I am on K-3. Could you please tell me which documents do I I have to bring to the states for AOS? I was told my birth certificate and marriage certificate with translation and notarized..

Thank you so much..

i think you have time to file since you got married within the 3 months that the I-94 allows ... (expiry date)

but saying that i'm not sure .... see my hubby and i got married in the 3 months we were allowed and filed before the I-94 expired .... that was a year ago lol .....

Yeah you need to get married in the first 3 months. I was reminded of this when i went through immigration.

Fill in your timeline!, You came on a K1 right? you got married within 90 days..there is nothing to worry about.

No rush to file for AOS, it just means you are out of status, which as a human being is not a nice feeling but it has no effect on your legal status in the USA, you are still legal. First things first, live, when you have enough cash 1010 dollars + extras to file for AOS then do it not everyone can afford AOS right away my Husband and I waited due to the fact we were purchasing our house, my I-94 expired in February I hope to apply for AOS mid April :) .

filing for the Aos you need to have a medical if more then a year (i think it is from memory has passed) this is only if its your fault .. and not immigration taking their time getting back to you with an appt date ...

i hope this makes sense.

Hello VJ,

I am ready now to apply for adjustment of status. But I am confused that on my husband's Federal income tax return information is like this: (2006 - 13,282), (2007 - 13,846), (2008 - 491) only. Now my question is do I have to add it all 3 years to meet the poverty guidelines? Please I need somebody's help for this. All inputs about this matter would be so much appreciated. Thank you...

Um..how can I say this nicely...you're going to need a sponsor. $491 was the only income? You all will have to find someone or maybe try to use some assets to get to the poverty level requirement.

In Christ alone my hope is found;

He is my light, my strength, my song;

This cornerstone, this solid ground,
