Ok. Ok. France's qualification might have been questionable. But Italia's cup from the '06 is questionable. I'm still mad at them divers. And who can forget how they provoked my beloved Zidane.

You know what? ** Zidane. Heckling is part of sports, and if he can't handle it, then he was right in his decision to retire. I am not a fan of players taking a dive, but at least there is some recourse for the officials when they catch them.

My mom was salivating at the sight of the Italian players. When the match was over and they were taking off their shirts, she begged the TV not to cut away to happy fans.

Well we don't have cable TV, just high speed internet. Nevertheless this did not stop hubby from watching all of the games on Univision. I too am all soccer-ed out and it's only day four of the world cup. But it's fun to watch my husband get so excited, and I even catch myself getting riled up (especially during the US-UK match!)

The man played footy for over a decade, has the bad knee to prove it, heh...long story short, he's all about the footy. Good thing is, so am I! I was working on Saturday, but we both were watching the match in separate places, and chatting about it on msgr. We've sat on many occasion and watched some random match, pre-WC. Now with the WC, anytime he's glued to the tv, so am I....so win-win!

I missed the first match (I only watch the German team, lol) cause I was in Yellowstone, but man did we kick butt! Some matches are so early I won't be able to make it, but is there any place online were you can watch reruns?

I didn't get a chance to watch Brazil vs. North Korea, but I was surprised too that it was only 2-1. A lot of surprises are coming this World Cup it seems. Like the USA vs. England match, I thought England was going to score more goals (no offense on the US team of course)
