Well its all swings and roundabouts - a media machine that acknowledges, teaches and encourages girls to be this way and a culture that tells boys to expect it and exploit it, may as well get something out of it. If girls and boys aren't taught any different, the cycle will continue. I've seen a LOT of my husband's friends complain lately about women and their using ways and then complain when they don't have one! What really gets me is the way they talk is like they're entitled to "the one", when their attitude is hardly endearing them. They're good men, the problem can't possibly be them! ..... *facepalm*

God, this board does need a *Facepalm* emote badly, doesn't it? I can think of 3 times in the last 10 minutes i wanted to use one...

Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.

And it is even more gag-worthy when they explain it away with "Nice guys finish last".

There's a DA for that too, it's not just anthro penguin porn

Followed by "Well then, maybe I should be more like them". I mean come on, didn't your momma ever tell you two wrongs don't make a right? I have yet to hear anyone who has said this come to the conclusion that they need to re evaluate who they date. The same people who never turn anyone down for a date in the consideration that they might not be right for them just because they don't want to be alone.

Yeah, one I can't see for some unfathomable reason.

You're still not missing anything, except my crudely drawn comic :P

I think this board is more dire need of culling the herd. Either that, or you could get a full frontal lobotomy. I heard that the iPhone has an app for that.

at a bus stop arguing over who gets on the bus first.

I chalk it up to a lack of general manners that seems to be epidemic these days.
