    Recipe Thread

    I thought there was a recipe thread that I could just bump, but I couldn't find it. *shrug* I have a terrific craving for hummus and pita bread today and I was wondering if anyone had good recipes for this. In addition, I thought maybe a recipe thread would be cool to get good recipes that we all can try out - just put your favs on here, when you think of it. For my part, I will put my absolute friggin' favourite veggie dip recipe on here... Val's Veggie Dip 1c. mayonnaise 1c. sour cream 1 tbsp. parsley 1 tbsp. onion salt 1 tbsp. chives 1 tbsp. dill weed 1 tbsp. Bon Appetit (this is a McCormick Gourmet Collection spice) Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix until fully blended. You can use fresh herbs with this, very good, but it makes it a light greenish colour and you need to use a blender to mix it.
