If you called again this afternoon you'd probably get an entirely different answer.

I wish I could send you some more strength to get through this. You have such deep faith and great support, I do hope that helps carry you through this. Sweetie, this treatment is unconscionable and unfathomable. Long ago, they should have made a decision one way or the other.

We here love you and care about you. I agree with the others that you should get on a plane to be with him.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

OMG, Sara....this is just unbelievable!! I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope it takes less than what they said. You guys have waited forever and I cannot believe they are making you wait longer than you already have. Hang in there and don't lose hope. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. (F)

7/31/08: Received by USCIS

8/06/08: Check cashed

8/07/08: Rec'd NOA for I-485 AOS

8/07/08: AOS, EAD, & AP - Touched

8/08/08: Rec'd NOAs for EAD & AP

8/12/08: Rec'd Biometrics appt letter

8/21/08: Biometrics

9/29/08: EAD & AP - approved!!

10/6/08: EAD & AP - received in the mail!

2/06/09: Received interview notice for March 10th!!

3/10/09: Passed interview - husband's GC approved!!! Woohoo!!! :-)

01/2011: File to remove conditions

It's been ridiculous to see what they are doing to you! :angry:

There should take a decision now; they are people too, they could understand in what situation there are putting you into!

If I was you, I would also take a plane. You defenitly need to be with each other!

I'm so sorry to hear this. I can't imagine the pain for all this waiting.

Call again and see if you get the same answer.

Honestly, I'd be figuring out how to get on a plane and stay for several months or longer. They can delay your petition, but don't let them delay your life.

i know alot of u have been following our case here is what i was told today by csc..........

ur case was this month referred for further investigation and concluded with it will take six more months..........................................................................

I am so sorry to hear what you're going through.

Ever since I first saw your timeline a few months back I've always been hoping that I see your "we got our NOA2"-post. I can only imagine what a nightmare this must be for you. Like some other VJers said, I would try to get the case in the media.

This is unbelievalbe and heartbreaking at the same time. My heart goes out to you Sara!

Whether you decide to go to see your fiance now or not, all I can say is that I hope you find the strength to get through this.
