Mine has been updated to that since yesterday but NO interview date since ours was an expedite and we have to schedule our own interview.... YET they're giving conflicting answers when we call... one said we go ahead and schedule... other said we can't schedule until our file is reviewed by all departments???

Makes no sense to have an expedite when it actually makes the process harder.. I'm not sure what to think anymore..

Anyone have any advice on this?

Should we call them today since they've actually received the hard format of the file yesterday?

hi, i tried different pages and all only gives the option to register for pick only (visa)  i dont think we need to register the appintment since they already send us the letter or have you find the way  way

NVC will setup an interview  date for you and notify you with a  letter. You don't have to setup an interview date. You just have to register for document pickup

Is it possible that you registered with the Visa Appointment Service in thee past, perhaps when you applied for NIV?

You may try to sign in using your email (since it looks like there is an existing account with your email) by clicking on the "Sign In" link at the top right corner of the page. If you have forgotten the password then click on the "Forgot your password?" link and follow the instructions on resetting your password.

Once you are able to login, then you may continue with the registration.

...do good and good will be done onto you...

I was able to see this yesterday as well. Were you able to schedule the medical appointment? when is the best time to call them? Karachi one was not picking up when my wife call earlier today.

I think you need to relax and wait for the consular office in your country to contact you. Expedited processing doesn't necessarily means everything will now happen in a day or in a week.

My case was expedited at the NVC stage and NVC sent me a notice in an email basically saying that consulate in Kingston Jamaica has accepted this case for expedited processing and that my file will be immediately forwarded to the consulate. It took another 12 days (approximately 2 weeks) for the consulate to send me an email with my interview appointment letter stating my interview date and medical instructions. (Check my signature to see my detailed timeline).

Of course time and events may be different for your consulate.

Ah, I see.

Yes we are just waiting now, they're looking over our file now so let's see, they did say it could take up to two weeks and it's been a little over a week already. Hopefully we hear something soon, we are just crunched for time due to medical reasons so it gets a little stressful with each passing day.

I understand that feeling... unfortunately the consulate doesn't and they will treat all expedited cases as same. The good news is that you got expedited, imagine if you were still at NVC and waiting for CC and all. :)

You are right! Plus we give ourselves hope that if we got through Nebraska then we can get through the next few weeks as well. 😅😊

Update !

Received phone call from our attorney yesterday afternoon. Package ready for pick-up (They conveniently only put their e-mail address to be notified) <_<

Picked-up this morning (FYI our handout referring to paying Immigration Fee did not have numbers filled in...they were left black)

Used the VISA page to get numbers...

Fee Paid :-) Will be going to get the entry stamp later this afternoon:dance:

Great contrats! We got my hubby's yesterday as I did everything I received the email. Now we have just crossed over. God is good
