I just checked Tracking and found out the case number ahead of mine got interview date yesterday. Also a few case number after mine got interview scheduled. All of the nearest case numbers has been updated recently like yesterday. Should I call and ask at NVC

My CC was Jan 12.

Embassy: Dhaka Embassy.

Case numbers do not determine in what order interview is scheduled

maybe they got Case complete before you ?

most likely your interview will be scheduled enter of January 2018 .. thats what the guide says atleast

Hi Guys,

This question is for people from Mexico.

Last week my wife had her interview and she was approved. She is now waiting in Jalisco for the "package" with all the documents.

Do any of you know if she can directly fly to California? or is it required to go through the border? This is what the NVC says: " you will travel to a U.S. port-of-entry (often an airport) and request permission to enter the United States.".

Has anyone done it yet?

Thanks.

You don't have to enter through an airport. You can drive across the border, walk. No issue. I know many who have, Congratulations.

Do you know those Visa types? More than likely K1's or they could have been expedites. You can always call NVC to see if they are scheduling for your embassy. They might be early also.

Thanks!

my question is more about, can we enter through an airport? Are we able to book a flight and just take the plane and do the paper work at the airport?

Hello I have been following this thread for sometime and decided to join so I can get some advice for my wife who is applying for her visa. My first question is that her priority  date states 13Jun2016 and we have received an email stating that they have received all our documents at the NVC Dec 19th . Would our appointment be soon or around June?

Thank you in advance for your help

I guess I am confused at what paperwork are you talking about. All she needs is her brown envelope package back from Embassy, Her passport with Visa to enter US. Any airport.

Relax don't be depressed buddy the supervisor will check and confirm for you try and give them 1day or 2days to do that then call them to ask again.Maybe you ommited some things that needs to be corrected

It's nothing to be worried about

All the best

Good day sir,so I called NVC twice earlier today ..

1st lady asked me date I submitted my DS260, I told her .. then she said all is fine and it’s going in order by my scan date and it’ll take about 11 weeks to be reviewed from that date..
( I called again to be sure all is really fine with my Ds260)

2nd lady.. I asked her if my DS260 is showing on their system, she told me No, but it doesn’t mean they don’t have it and since i got a Confirmation for it then everything is fine ..It will be reviewed, it takes 11weeks to review the mail and I should wait patiently.

I’m quite confused with NVC processing coz I’ve seen someone with same scan date of Dec 29 get cc on Jan 19 and mine isn’t even in the review yet.
