As everyone has already said the answer is No.

Don't worry about the change of situation before the interview. You have to fill in the DS-160 during the Embassy stage, so give them the current information on that form when the time comes. Live changes, they understand that.

I have never even heard of a DS-160? I was under the impression that we just filed the I-129F and then waited for the approval for an interview. Thanks.

Well, the i129F is only the petition to apply for the visa. Once that's approved, you have to apply for the visa at your Embassy, which involves more forms and documents, the medical exam and, finally, the interview. The DS-160 is the electronic form you have to fill when applying for the visa.

Read the guides, they explain everything step by step :)

And to answer your question about why I would think to include pictures of sonogram.. uh, why wouldn't I? We have the burden of proof in regards to showing it's a real relationship and that we've met in the last two years. A pregnancy will answer both those questions quite sufficiently, no?

12 hours ago, CanadianMomtobe said:

As I say, the mere fact that I am pregnant is obviously helpful when required to prove that you are in a real relationship and have met in recent years.

It's fine to include them, but a child is not evidence of a bona fide relationship. A lot of scammers would just get pregnant if that was the case. To be clear, I'm in no way implying that's the case here (heaven forbid!)....just saying that it would be an open hole for abuse.

Wow, they'd have to have a pretty cynical view to think of a pregnancy as possibly being an "anchor baby".. that thought never occurred to me. You'd have to really desperately want to move to the United States to go through having a baby just to move there lol. Thanks for the insight I would have never thought of it that way.

Yes unfortunately in this world there is all kind of people. People that are so desperate to go to U.S and God knows they would do anything to move here. Not all women have a baby for the right reasons. Just like there is people that marry someone for the GC... There is people that have a baby and not for the right reasons and, yes we live in a cynical world. Sadly.

Don't stress too much about all this. Hopefully the rest of this K1 journey goes smoothly for you guys and the new baby.

Zero chance you will have the interview in 8 weeks.  The baby will be born with US citizenship before you get to that point.  Also many of us cant have children.  A pregnancy is proof a woman had sex.  That's it.  Focus on your relationship evidence with your fiance.  Read up on our guides about the k1 process too.  They will help you prepare for this whole process!

Not really......It does not prove with whom you have had a relationship or whom you have met in recent years.

As a matter of fact, they ARE  sometimes cynical.........and if you read VJ much, you will see that there are people who desperately seek to enter the US by various illegal ways.

Just because you are pregnant doesn't mean the loving relationship you are in is the father.  As it was said on here once...being pregnant only proves deeds were done not that there is a relationship in immigrations eyes.  Just sayin.  With that being said....I was pregnant when my fiancé (now husband) went for his interview.  They asked him the due date and they did look at my ultrasound pictures. But I included it in my application with a letter from the doctor. However, again my husband came from a high fraud country so it is kind of a different situation.

Having a child together is no solid evidence to the US you are in a bonafide relationship. I'd focus more on proof of having met in the past two years, pictures and chat logs, etc etc.

It might sound crazy to a lot of us immigrants, but if having a child was considered proof of bonafide relationships, a lot of women would get themselved knocked up. For some, desperation for living the American dream is  big.

Not saying you can't add sonograms or anything to your petition, but the officer won't take it in to consideration much. Good luck.

Hi, I've had a look for the guides you're referring to but can't find them. Is there anyway you could include a link or let me know where to go on here? Thank you so much!
