Omg.... the website literally says "As a result, we are unable to print visas...."

This is literally the worst news I could imagine getting right now.... we scheduled our interview THIS MORNING. We are soooooo close to the end and now this? It's going to be interesting to see how this affects people... I hope they are overestimating the problems :(

At least they have nearly a month to fix it before your interview. Literally the worst news are those who just had their interviews and have been expecting their visas the last few days. How many of them starting buying planes tickets and making plans? You are in a much better scenario.

I agree, it could always be worse. Doesn't change the fact that this is still upsetting and worrisome :( Well.... I hope it's fixed ASAP. This process sucks enough as it is without this on top of it! I'm happy to have VJ here to discuss everything with <3

A few people on my March filer thread have already bought tickets (most of them are USC's going to support their fiance's). Our case actually showed an update on June 9th, but I'm not sure if that's because of this or if the embassy is beginning to process our petition. The latest email we got from the embassy said they take six weeks to process the paper file once they receive it and that they may contact us around June 15th and maybe an interview in July sometime. I'm hoping this doesn't take so long to correct.

Signature coming soon...

Like I told them at least there's a month between now and your interview. Think of those who have had their interviews in the past week or so. They are literally at the finish line but can't cross.

I wonder if this is going to affect AOS and ROC within the US, too?

the report clearly states that it is not effecting inside the US, it's all overseas

Horrible. I'm sorry to those waiting...

You're so close, don't let it get to you. That's probably impossible for awhile, but it's nothing we can control. Almost home....just gotta get past this last little bit. Hopefully it's nothing more than a few days.... many here feel the same.

I was wondering about that. A few weeks ago, I was on a Canadian thread where some people had their visa's being issued delayed - but they said they were later issued. And on the DS - 260 for spousal visas, the ceac.gov isn't working so well.

I've been waiting almost 1 month to pay my visa fee online. The NVC website wasn't working, i think it still doesn't work for some applicants. I heard they delay some applications on purpose because they don't have enough people working at the immigration.

I had contacted the senator's office to get my husband's passport back, the embassy replied within a day and contacted my husband to confirm if his phone number was the same and to go to the american express office when they call. the thing is, the ceac never updated after they emailed back, does anyone know if their system might be down as it has been in the news or they dont update records when a passport is sent back, i am a bit worried why the case status didnt update
