Visit visa...rejected twice. Planning to apply again

Hello,

I have a question about my sister in law who wants to visit my other sis in law in USA. Last 2 times she applied she was rejected but the officer told her that next time if she applied she will be granted visa. We are going to try again however I want to go over what should we do differently this time.

First time

She didn't show strong job or ties to come back and she said her sis needed her at the interview. Of course the reason was she wanted to attend her niece bday.

2nd time:

She had job but they never asked for the letter. She said she was going on vacation but they told her no however apply again and she will get it.

This time this is what we are going to show in addition to her job of 2 years. Her bank account and her reason is to visit her sister for her upcoming vacation.

Now we want to know if that is enough or should we show more?

Anyone has similar situation?

I don't think showing/explaining that she wants to visit her sister is going to help at all. In fact, it might end up getting her rejected again. Close ties to/visiting a realtive who is a USC is a common reason for the rejection of s B-2 visa.

That doesn't make sense because according to the B-2 Visa application site, you can apply to visit your relative such as your sister or brother or mother, people have in the past. What other reasons can we do beside this that shows she is not intending to migrate? She is over the age of 25 so her immigration visa will take years.

Many, many people on this site have applied for B-2 visas (or had their relatives apply) for the purpose of visiting their relatives in the US and have been rejected. It happens. A lot. So I was just pointing out that fact.

Is there anyone on this site who have had their visa approved on basis of this relative reason? I was reading that if you have a strong base or ties to your country, you have a chance.

Hate to burst your balloon, but there is no such thing as ..apply next time and be granted a visa..!

She can apply again, but as long as there is no material change in circumstances, she should expect to be denied again. But stranger things have happened. Is the applicant married, has a family\job, etc in pak?

Because ALL applicants are presumed to have immigrant intent. If a good bit of your family is in the US what is preventing you from packing up you stuff and using the visa to go live with them and have them help you find a job until they can help you adjust your status to become a resident?

Unfortunately, this is the same method that previous visitor visa applicants used to gain entry into the US and overstay. Some countries have a real high history of B2 applicants using family members in the US to overstay.

The burden is up to you to convince the officer at the interview that you won't be one of them.

Has she travelled any? Often, travelling to other countries such as Europe or Canada, and returning on time, will help with a torurist visa app.

If she wants to get approved she needs to change what she showed and told the CO last two times, like bringing an employment letter showing that she has permanent job and if she can get a letter from the company where she works stating that she is a good asset and they are not intending on releasing her anytime soon + strong family ties: I guess if she isn't married and has no children to go back to any other paper wouldn't do much good + financial ties: owning house/land/car...etc any kind of property would help to convince the CO that you have something to go back to after your trip

No one can tell you any correct answer.

The only way to find out is Apply and pay the fee.

Now, if they are willing to look at what is different now from before then that is a different story.

The main purpose of a visitors visa is to visit and do touristy things....

Number one rule is be honest on every answer to any question but do not offer answers to questions not asked

Is OP's spouse looking for a travel companion? CR-1 visa approved just this week.
