My Letter to Obama About the NVC's Wonderful New Processing Times

Dear Mr. President,

My name is thedude6752000 and I have petitioned the government for my wife, who is currently an Indian national residing in that country, to get a visa to come live with me here. I just wanted to thank you, you majesty King Obama, for your DACA amnesty, put into place completely in defiance of the US Congress and Constitution. Although I doubt you care, in addition to the 7 months at the USCIS I had to endure without my wife, I am now coming to find out that the National Visa Center has extended the wait time for every piece of paper they process from 30 to 60 days as a result of the backlog created by your brazenly illegal amnesty polices. I really appreciate all the help you've given to people who have no legal right to be in this country at the expense of people patiently waiting in line to come here the right and legal way. I especially appreciate the fact that I will pass my first wedding anniversary next month alone and without my wife. That's hope and change I can really believe in, because unlike your empty promises to "fix the immigration system for people playing by the rules" I am sure this will come to pass.

In closing I would just like to say that I cannot wait to vote straight Republican in November (and I say this as a former OFA Deputy Field Organizer in Florida)and even to help the Republicans here in Virginia organize and get out the vote, in order to do my small part to further ruin the last years of your useless Presidency, just as you have ruined my life and shattered my marriage.

Sincerely, thedude6752000, spouse of a non-resident alien who was dumb enough to follow the law in your new lawless America

Your ideas are all great..but if you send the letter drop the sarcasm (but leave the anger) so it is taken seriously.

YOU ARE EXACTLY CORRECT! The legal immigration process is BROKEN and should have been the #1 priority for the govt. How can people be expected to legally immigrate when the process is so difficult, expensive, and after all that, inefficient, and just way to long. Its an inhumane system that punishes US Citizens for coupling with anyone other than another person already having US immigration status.

I agree, but be professional and serious.

What a bunch of nonsense. Seriously, blaming Obama for this is silly and childish.

Perhaps you missed the NY Times article. I posted it recently. And BTW the NYT is NOT a right wing or conservative publication. But to each their own.

This is good advise. Your letter is filled with understood anger and wasted sarcasm that will cause anyone to simply laugh at the effort and disregard the actual message.

The President has to work with both sides of the house on these issues so blaming the problem on one individual is ignorant of the system of government we enjoy in this wonderful country.

The real problem lies in the fact that these Congressman and Senators have done nothing for over 60 years about immigration reform. This means there has been quite a few Presidents in that time so I see no reason to blame Obama now. The system has failed the people because the citizens have allowed these lazy politicians to do what the lobbyists demand not what is best for the people. We need to ask how these same politicians have remained in the same office for so many years. The answer is simply apathy and ignorance. I read recently read the 87% of the citizens say they are tired of the inability of these politicians to affect any significant change in any of the serious issue we face in this great country.

It is Obama's fault. Obama's executive order DACA has helped create this backlog. We should sue his behind. Not congress.

Didn't you and you husband choose when to begin the journey? You must have thought about the timing of the birth of the child as well. Doesn't this mean you two are responsible for the situation you find yourself in? If you really cant " play " what will you do instead? Couldn't your husband move to the P I until you are approved?

You are lucky to be a country where you can say what you want and take this action to sue your own government. Have you filed the lawsuit yet? Or are you going to be like Congress and simply take a vacation to get in some more rounds of golf?

Have you contacted your Congressman and Senators to demand their voting record on immigration issues? Make an appointment with them to see them in person in their local office while they are on vacation so you can ask them in person.
