  • Our Story
I met my wonderful husband on Blackplanet.com Jan 2013. At the time I was not looking for a relationship. I was tired of dealing with trifling men. So one day when I was on the website I received his request. When I noticed he was from Ghana, Africa I was skeptical. I was not about to get scammed or played. But when I checked out his photos turned out he was a pro-soccer player who was playing footballl in Russia. So that's when I accepted his friendship. Since day one we connected. I have never met a man with such high morals and is so God fearing. Soon after we fell in love. I never left the US in my life but decided to fly to Ghana May 26th 2013. On June 1st 2013 we were married. We had a large ceremony in Accra, Ghana which included all his family and friends. I stayed in Adenta with my husband for 45 days. I now have a connection to Ghana and now it's my second home. When I arrived back in Baltimore I found out I was pregnant. My baby is due Feb 21st 2014. Me and my husband is so sadden he will not be here to witness the birth of his first child. Immigration received our I130 petition Sept 17th 2013 and it is still in initial review. I swear to God this process is getting on my damn nerves and I am about to call Obama personally about this bull. I am praying I am reunited with my husband soon or I will be flying to Ghana until this process if over. They got me seriously twisted.

Update: Our beautiful son was born on 2/22/2014. It's July 14th 2014 and to our surprise we are still waiting. NVC has approved our AOS and they have received our IV civil documents. The waiting continues. I have gotten so use to this jacked up process I cannot even get mad anymore. God has been so good to me and my husband. We are blessed. We have been keeping our faith. The day my husband arrives in the states I plan on taking him to see a musical and out to dinner.
