So far 2 approval on Igor's list and one was a September filer and a March filer Philippine.

Website is usually updated around the 15th, but sometimes earlier. Im guessing this Friday.

Why does it seem like most weeks there are few approvals Mon to Wed, and then a bunch Thurs and some Fri...are they down to working on K1's like twice a week??

Does anyone? I still think sometime in early February a truckload of bins containing petitions fell over and they scooped everything up and squished them randomly into any place they would fit.

Yeah, right.

We tried to follow trends on whether they were processing I129F petitions on certain days and there have been periods where it seems to be the case. There was a time when there were never approvals on Fridays. There was a time when there were either many or none (I forget which) on Tuesdays.

I think TSC is just so snowed under that any hint of order has been lost in the vast backlog.

I fear the day a fiancé petition takes 10 years to process like sibling petitions ?????

This morning I decided to see what the average wait time is from the point at which the embassy receives the petition until the actual interview date. It varies from embassy to embassy; for me it's running 32 days at the moment. So if I could just get the friggin NOA2, there is an outside chance that we could get everything done in time for Elena, David and I to return to TEXAS together as a family. But the TSC/USCIS certainly isn't helping matters much.

Just received this from my congressman's office. Looks like applications will actually be routed based on workload and not state now. Doesn't do us much good, but it's good news overall.

I’ve received a reply from USCIS with regard to the systemic problem of I-129f processing delays in Texas. As of March 26^thUSCIS began a workload realignment, for the I-129f as well as several other form types. All incoming I-129fs will be routed from the lockbox facilitate to service centers based upon workload capacity in order to rebalance the workload distribution. This should create a more equitable distribution and consistent processing time. The text of this response has been inserted below:

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the USCIS GovDelivery bulletin issued on March 26, 2015 concerning recent workload transfers. The GovDelivery message announced that 2 separate actions were being undertaken by USCIS’s Service Center Operations Directorate in the normal course of business to rebalance workloads.

As you may already know, the California Service Center (CSC) and the Vermont Service Center (VSC) both process the Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative. The first announcement relayed that some of the Form I-130s that are within the jurisdiction of the VSC will be transferred to CSC. This type of workload transfer is an ordinary and customary transfer of work among services centers that regularly adjudicate the same form.

The second announcement concerns workload realignment of the Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e); Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker; Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status (employment and asylum-based only); and Forms I-821D/I-765, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals/Application for Employment Authorization (initial and renewal requests), all of which are being routed by the lockbox to appropriate designated USCIS service centers to rebalance workloads across the 4 service centers. I do hope that maybe not having as many incoming I-129 applications it will still do us a little bit of good. IF they keep the number of people working on them constant, that is.
