You can inquire with the NVC if you can open that police certificate to scan and email it.

My DS-260 did not ask for previous work or education. It wasn't an issue at my interview. Then it started asking people. Now it seems like most of the time it doesn't. It would be nice if the form was the same for everyone. The one thing you WILL need however is the exact addresses of every place you've lived for any period of time since age 16. That was a list of 18 addresses for me.

Good idea! I'll call NVC to ask if I can open my Japanese police certificate envelop to scan it. I can also call the Japanese Consulate in Vancouver to ask this question. I don't know why Japanese police seal it inside of an envelop and state that it will be invalid if opened. It's not like there is money inside of it. Haha. :no:

Very interesting to hear that there are different DS-260 versions. I wonder if it depends on the beneficiary's country. Canadians seem to be filling out the DS-260 that doesn't ask for previous work or education. It's good news since I don't remember the exact dates for my previous jobs. :thumbs:

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to know how many times did u call NVC for your case number? and is there a particular person to look for? I have read the Tier2? I am hoping to get the case number for my I-130 before they received the approved I-129f..

My husband filed for a K3 but luckily we go the approval of the I-130 in 14 days and some said that we will be processing the I-130 petition. I have seen the status of my I-129f and it says that my Alien Number was changed and I know that after that, next will be approval and if it will be approved, it will also be sent to NVC.

I also read that "If the NVC receives the approved I-129F petition before it receives the I-130 petition, the NVC will process the I-129F petition."

Any thoughts will be appreciated..thank you :-)

What's the average time it's taking these days for NVC to review checklisted docs? (Documents I sent in following a checklist.)

They got them in on Monday but I'm hoping it isn't going to take another 30 days to review.

It seems like it's about two weeks. My checklist stuff was received Monday.

My revised AOS was received at the NV today. Only 3 days after the original package. Alan told me they have up to 30 days to process the packages but he said it is taking around 20 business days. But it looks like 2 weeks according to VJ... so lets see what happens

Thats what I am seeing too.... 2 weeks,,,,,, so w are cutting it real close for the end of April.

Watch me call the embassy and beg...... I mean ASK for a May interview.... :rofl:

My son is graduating High School on June 12th. I need to be here for that...The way my luck has been lately... That will be our interview date too...
