Pls when was your packages received.i'm hoping for a case complete next week, my AOS is already reviewed and accepted, no checklist, and oh I forgot to say congrats, you deserve it, I'm happy for you.

If I wouldn't have gotten a checklist I would have had a case complete in 20 days from the time they received my IV packet. But the checklist held us up about 3 1/2 weeks! UGH! BUt we are there now! Thanks! :energy:

I filled out the 230 for practice, but everyone has to do the online DS-260 these days.

There also seems to be some inconsistencies in the required information as per posters in the last couple of weeks. I had absolutely no education history nor prior work sections to fill in, I even checked it several times to be sure, but it only asked for my current place of employment/school.

Prior addresses were by month/year, to and from. Prior visits to the US (x5) were day/month/year, to and from.

You'll find much over the last few weeks about EP in this thread. I simply chose to avoid the hassles that others were experiencing, and did snail mail... yes Canada has the option for either (but once you choose EP, then you must do EP) :)

Had the same thing happen with my DS-260. No section for education or prior employment. I completed as is. If they want it, they can ask for it and i'll provide it.

Sooooooo, I called NVC at 10:00pm, was on hold for 27 minutes. I spoke to Lee and she told me CASE COMPLETE!!!!!!!!!!!

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so happy and relieved! I feel so blessed to have found this website. I would have never made it through this process so quickly and easiy ( even with a checklist) without my VJ family. And everyone here truly is like family. We support each other through the good times and bad, we disagree and sometimes even fight with each other but at the end of the day we are still there for each other. (just like family) Thanks Guys!!!

To everyone that is getting the "shorter version" of the DS-260 with no prior education and employment sections. Might I suggest that you download the form DS-230, complete and print it out for the interview. I read in Saylin's blog that she completed a DS-230 and they asked for it at the interview.

Congratulations!!!! You are almost in the finish line, we have been waiting for this to come! I hope ours will come next week!

Thank you! I called 2 times on Thursday and 2 times on Friday and finally at 10:30 Friday night we got our cc. I knew it was coming because other members had responses to checklists in about 2 weeks. Hang in there. It will be very soon!

I know a lot of us hate the weekends right now because the NVC and USCIS are not working, I know it is hard to wait, but

Let's all just sit back and relax a little bit! the high stress this process causes us is really taking a big toll on all of us!

I decided to work this weekend so that the time goes faster!

I volunteered for Saturday but I'm thinking about working Sunday also!

Rather than sitting in front of a PC all day long waiting for IV fee to be payable (I got the yellow triangle last night after 07:30PM).

The weather is goeargous today! may be a nice walk in the park after work to complete the day!!!
