The agent put us in a waiting room so another agent could verify the visa. The verification process took all but 5 minutes. They put a stamp in the passport with the visa type (CR-1) and the date of entry. That was it! They didn't ask us any questions, they didn't ask to provide the receipt of payment for the entry fee. We had all of that paperwork just in case, but we didn't need it. Out port of entry was Dallas, Texas. | 2023-06-28

He met with CO around 11am. I had uploaded pictures with captions showing our relationship from when we met to present. He carried all his original documents in a folder. They asked him my name, where I lived and what I did. They asked our 18 yr old what he planned to do: work or go to school. Looking at the pictures he said we looked like a happy family. My husband has been arrested and the charges dropped but one of the documents had language th CO did not understand. My husband offered the original court documents and he said he didn’t need them. He kept the passports and said we would hear in a 2 weeks. Lo and behold, the following Tuesday we got a call asking for the original documents. Same day 02/14, the 18 yr old visa was issued. We submitted the originals to courier on 2/16, and the 15 yr old visa was issued that day. My husband visa was issued on 3/10. We booked the tickets for 1 week after 18 yr old finished his A level exams. | 2023-06-05
