Comments : He arrived at 630 for an 730 appt and there was already a long line. He met with CO around 11am. I had uploaded pictures with captions showing our relationship from when we met to present. He carried all his original documents in a folder. They asked him my name, where I lived and what I did. They asked our 18 yr old what he planned to do: work or go to school. Looking at the pictures he said we looked like a happy family.
My husband has been arrested and the charges dropped but one of the documents had language th CO did not understand. My husband offered the original court documents and he said he didn’t need them. He kept the passports and said we would hear in a 2 weeks. Lo and behold, the following Tuesday we got a call asking for the original documents. Same day 02/14, the 18 yr old visa was issued. We submitted the originals to courier on 2/16, and the 15 yr old visa was issued that day. My husband visa was issued on 3/10. We booked the tickets for 1 week after 18 yr old finished his A level exams.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
