  1. Ok. Good to know. Good luck with everything. His appt for police records is in 3 weeks so we are in holding pattern till then. Hope we don’t have to wait forever to get an interview after that
  2. That’s great!! where did he go? To his local courhouse or Duke St?
  3. My husband has to get his court documents as well. He said it doesn’t take very long. He was able to get a court doc clearing his passport in 1 day, so I am hopeful the process to get all the records needed for immigration will be just as fast. This is unlike the police records which are taking 6 weeks just to get an appointment to submit the request.
  4. This is a 2 part question. My 3 cases (3 sep i130s) were sent to NVC. When I activated the cases at CEAC I only had to pay for one AOS and it had a button showing “related cases”. Not that I want to pay more money but I thought I had to pay a separate I864 fee for each I130 application? 2nd question. Can I use the i864ez in my circumstance? Since I am only filing and paying for 1 AOS, criteria 1c to file i864ez seems confusing: “The sponsored immigrant is the only person immigrating based on the underlying visa petition.” If I was filing 3 separate AOS then the answer is simple “yes”. But really not sure if that fits in my scenario.
  5. Just wanted to post that cases were approved on 8/6/2021. I filed for my husband and 2 stepsons on 3/5. It said Nebraska Service Ctr on the notices. Son# 1 went to active review on 4/1. Son #2 went to active review on 5/28. Then nothing for a while. Was informed in June that case of #1 moved to Potomac, #2 moved to California and hubby moved to Vermont. At that point I just gave up hope and decided to just stop checking since processing time in Vermont is 30 months or so. On 7/28 my husband’s file moved to active review, then all cases approved on 8/6 just 9 days later. It took almost exactly 5 months. All NOA2 notices came from VT.
  6. I filed at beginning of March for hubby and 2 sons. The boys are both showing actively under review for 2+ months. No action on hubby. We were so excited at first thinking it would be done by end of year but we made a decision to live our lives as we normally would and not make changes based on the status of filing. The plan is for me to go there from Oct to Jan so we can celebrate our birthdays and Xmas together. Also trying to decide what we will do if the boys are approved before he is.
