Another consideration in favor of applying sooner rather than later is whether the Biden administration will open naturalization (or legal status) to large groups that are currently not eligible.  Regular processing of standard petitions and applications ground to a halt when DACA was implemented.

I think it's a shame some countries don't allow dual citizenship. I can't understand it. In today's inter-connected world, what is the argument against it?

Russia just passed full dual citizenship just this year (2020) so maybe it will change for other countries too.

    Nothing you can do, except:
    1.  Protect yourself legally and physically
    2.  Seek happiness for yourself, and move on
    3.  Let him handle his own immigration matters.
Unfortunately, you are bound by any I-864 you have signed until he is no longer a legal resident or has accrued 40 hours of work credit.  Remember, you have already given USCIS and DOS a lot of evidence proving your relationship is legit.

It's very likely too late.  He already has his green card.....it is out of your hands now......

"Represent your case"?  Like a lawyer?  The state DMV can specify which forms of ID are required for a name change on the documents they issue.  If that is their rule, no lawyer can force them to make an exception for you.

I am not familiar with NJ, but going through their DMV website, it appears that they require proof of legal presence (GC) which you do have, but it is in a different name.  You might try talking to a supervisor, but I know my wife's experience in MI was that she could not change her DL name until the GC name showed her new married name.  In our case she applied for her GC in her married name, so once she got that, she was able to update the DL.  I assume you already had your GC from another source before you got married since it is the 10yr variety, so did you file an I90 to change the name on the GC?

I am not sure there is an legal recourse.

You will have to have documentation for the legal termination of your first marriage.  Until you have that, you are stalled.  In addition, if you never divorced husband #1, then you are not legally married to your current "husband".

How did you choose Warsaw if he is not currently a legal resident/citizen of that country? Confirm with the NVC to which embassy the case will be sent to before anything else.

C-ma'am reacted to Captain Ewok in Biden's Plans for US Immigration (Big Changes)
When Joe Biden takes office in January, he has pledged to reverse many of Trump's  controversial immigration policies from the last 4 years.  Here are a few key items that Joe Biden plans to change:

    Merit-based/Family-based Immigration and Diversity Visa

Biden disagrees with Trump's position of creating a merit-based family immigration system.  Biden would instead "expand" family based immigration to the US.  He would allow any approved family visa beneficiary, whose green card is not yet available due to the annual country cap, to receive a temporary visa and enter the U.S. until a permanent visa (“green card”) becomes available.

In addition, Biden would support legislation that:

Expands the definition of “immediate relative” beyond spouses; minor, unmarried children; and parents of U.S. citizens to add spouses and children of green card holders, exempting them from caps; and  Allows parents to bring their minor children with them at the time they immigrate into the U.S.
Biden would also continue the Diversity Visa program, stating it brings needed diversity.

    "Dreamers" and Pathways to Citizenship

Biden believes that Dreamers and their parents should have a roadmap to citizenship through legislative immigration reform. When he enters office he  will remove the uncertainty for Dreamers by reinstating the DACA program, and he will explore all legal options to protect their families from inhumane separation.

    Public Charge

Biden would reverse Trump’s public charge rule. He believes the rule runs counter to American values and the history of the nation.

    Reversing Travel Bans

On Day One of his presidency, Biden intends to rescind Trump’s travel bans on travelers from 13 countries, most of them either majority-Muslim or African nations.

    Skilled Workers

Biden supports reform of the H1-B system including increased alignment to the current workforce.  Once reform is complete, he plans to expands the number of high-skilled visas.

    Refugees

Biden supports raising the annual allotment of refugee admissions to 125 thousand from around 15 thousand under President Trump.

    Mexico Border Wall

Biden plans to immediately stop diversion of US Defense funds for the border wall, effectively stopping its expansion.  Trump will immediately prioritize reunification of "lost" children from asylum camps with their parents.

In this case posting the RFE would not help. RFEs are generic and the info the OP provided saying 'priority date can not be established' and asking for the 130 means something was filled out incorrectly OR the mailroom worker incorrectly rejected it. It is rare that things get rejected incorrectly because when something is rejected several people have to sign off on it confirming its to be rejected.

OP- please check the example forms- https://www.visajourney.com/examples/INS-Form-I-485.pdf  Most likely the error is as already posted by @payxibka page 3 (2c).

You don't need a SSN to apply for adjustment of status...there is no reason to wait....you are now out of status and subject to removal.  Once you file a proper I-485, you will be granted authorized stay.  As stated above, you will have to wait for your EAD or green card to receive a SSN.

    Sunday/Father's Day report, see man:

Plans were to take Mini-B. to the first Burger King where we went on Father's Day, we with wee man.
However, Mrs. T-B. wanted to take Mini-B. scootering beforehand with his little amigo, scoot she with he man.

The plan was for about half an hour of that, plan man.
They indeed returned at about that time, adhere to plan man.
However, Mini-B. was screaming bloody murder, scream we man.

We asked Mrs. T-B. what had happened, we ask she man.
Mini-B. had fallen from his scooter and bloodied his knee & elbow, open joint account wee man.

We & Mrs. T-B. dressed the wounds, A&D ointment first at hand man.
Mini-B. then went into "drama king" mode, beef moan death's door wee man.
Furthermore, it began to rain like Noah needing an Ark, downpour man.
So much for the best-laid plans of mice and men and monkeys, oh well man.

Mini-B. spent the rest of the day on the sofa, watching videos, couch-potato wee man.
This (in)activity was punctuated by dramatic yowls of pain during any movement, dramatic wee man.

We subdued Many (2+2) laundry loads and even got a nap, zzz we man.
At Many (2+1) p.m., we set forth on errands just as a second monsoon monsooned, how dry we aren't man.

We used an expiring-today coupon for Many% (2x2x2x2x2-2%) off at CVS, timing is everything man.
We bought a Many-inch (2x2x2x2+2+2) air-circulator fan at Aldi on sale, save we man.

At Many (2x2x2-1) p.m., Mrs. T-B. left for din-din out with an amiga, socialite she man.
We readied Mini-B. for bed, melodramatic wee man.
Mini-B. noted goop dripping from his knee-bandage, observant wee man.
We said that the solution was to replace both bandages with better medicine, loudly objecting wee man.

We quickly perused our Many00 boxes of bandages in our closet, Collected for Reason man.
We found appropriate sizes, prepared we man.
Mini-B. went aysheep at idea of "ripping off" knee-bandage, out-freaking wee man.
We mollified him by noting the better (pain-relief) ointment for new bandage, logic man.

Mini-B. pleased by technique & thoroughness of medical procedures, impressed wee man.
Range of motion of both limbs also improved, impressed wee man.
We then gave Mini-B. 2 teaspoons of Juvenile Tylenol to slurp, slurp he man.
We then read Many (2x2x2x2x2-2) pages in Diary of a Wimpy Kid--the Getaway, read we to wee man.

Mrs. T-B. came back within 2 hours, return she man.
Mini-B. modeled his new bandages, objectively impressive work by we man.
Mrs. T-B. seemingly pleased, seemingly pleased she man.
Mrs. T-B. then took over duties of sleepenizing Mini-B., zzz wee man.
Showing fatherly love to our son was even better than taking him to BK (with coupons), conclude we man.

Legal malpractice seems like a longshot here, and the costs necessary to litigate it are likely much more than the amount paid (and you're not going to get a lawyer to sue another lawyer pro-bono).
A complaint to the state bar association is likely a better approach if one believes they were not properly represented.

And infectious disease experts. And medical doctors. And nurses.
Or because the US tried that in the past and it was ineffective. Just banning harmful and/or addictive products does not make them go away. Where there is a demand, there will be a supply.
Also, those may be addictive substances, but they are not infectious. I have ultimate responsibility for choosing to drink or smoke. I don't have a choice of getting a virus or not...I only have precautions to minimize that risk.
If my wife gets it (odds are pretty high she will as an ICU nurse handling COVID patients daily), I'm very likely to get it despite my best efforts. She's been exposed a few times (via other nurses who were confirmed positive) and tested already..it's just a matter of time really.
The best thing I can do is avoid unnecessary exposure to others so that by the time I find out I'm infected, I hopefully have not transmitted it to anybody else, especially my elderly parents.

I don't really think comparing a global pandemic to alcohol and tobacco makes sense. Two completely different stories. I can't choose whether or not I get covid-19 if I work in a hospital, for example, and have insufficient protection gear. Or if I have a pre-existing condition and live with someone that doesn't take care of themselves. I can still choose not to drink, and not to consume tobacco products.

So yeah, not quite the same thing there.

And the fact American economy is going downhill can be explained by many things, not only the virus. Just look at the rest of the world and see how the way they manage themselves has determined how much of a fall they are going to take. Sweden, for one, has chosen against lockdowns and guess what? Their economy is going south anyways.

If anything, it was our lack of appropriate and quick preventative care that put us in the situation we are today, and not an abundance of it.

The headline is misleading. The key item to remember is that asymptomatic carriers are different that pre-symptomatic carriers.

Asymptomatic carrier means they had the infection but never showed symptoms, and passed it on to somebody else.
Pre-symptomatic carrier means they had the infection and passed it on to somebody else before they showed symptoms.
This article relates to the former.

    The takeaway?
    1) Contact tracing is effective. Heavy asymptomatic transmission is nearly impossible to contact trace. Symptomatic transmission (pre or post symptom) can be traced.
    2) The likelihood of a significant percentage of the population having already been infected (and therefore are possibly now immune) is low. Most people who get the infection do actually show some symptoms at some point (even if mild).

It does not mean the lockdowns were excessive (that's another topic still).

Just a quick reminder that without masks and lockdowns the disease would have probably spread many, many times faster.

Would anyone be comfortable gambling with other people's lives just because they don't know 100% how the virus works? If the medical community says, "stay home" and "wear a mask" out of precaution, the fact remains that caution never hurt anyone. In fact, it might have saved many lives, and prevented healthcare from collapsing in many places.
