Boiler got a reaction from Ksenia_O in Anyone Wait Right Up to 90 Day Mark to File?
He could enter a week or so before the wedding, he has 6 months from the Medical.

Sounds like Lawyer time, I believe things get complicated with DV applications where there has been misinformation.

The important thing is that he knows what the deal is, can sort out stuff such as medical insurance etc etc.

Boiler got a reaction from Voice of Reason in Daily Mail update: Harry and Meghan are 'genuinely happy' in Canada because it's a 'world away from the chaos of their old life', source tells Us Weekly
I think that is related to her pushing forward policies not liked by certain sectors.

Yeah the big thing I saw and probably what got me banned from the Immigration subreddit page. She instituted a rule that you have to speak English inorder to qualify for basically a low level work visa in the UK. Basically the equivalent of a H2b visa here

Always an interview, and the DS260 needs kids listed too
there is no “just forgot to mention” option that works here

You should have “played” another day when you had their documents. The warning was in the instructions for entry too, not just after selection. Sorry there is no reassurance to give. You can hope for but not expect a positive outcome.

Big problem. Yes you need a lawyer. You may get your own application invalidated and lose your green cards. The instructions for entry explicitly say you have to list kids, and the instructions for selectees tell you clearly that your entry will be disqualified if you had kids and didn’t list them. This means you lied under penalty of perjury on your DS260 and you lied under oath at your interview, and that your immigrant visas were issued when they would have not been if you had been honest about the omission on your entry form. Lawyer is best bet, no guarantees here at all, you may get away with it, with the current climate at uscis I wouldn’t bet on them just turning a blind eye.
I just don’t understand why people do this, DV is such a gift and the entry form is so simple.

DV allows derivatives, so presumably they were too old.
As a LPR you can sponsor children if they are not married.

I do, she introduced a points based immigration scheme, sort of similar to Canada and Australia etc.

Boiler got a reaction from Lemonslice in How to get health insurance for non-US spouse while abroad (Public Charge)
How do you intend to cover yourself? Could you not add her to whatever that is?
Sounds like you may have domicile issues.

Hmm, having read much of this story, waiting for the Audiobook, I think that may be a stretch.

Well you can get Medicare if you are long term sick, time for her to start caring and accepting her responsibilities.

Boiler got a reaction from Burnt Reynolds in Harvey Weinstein found guilty at rape trial
It would be nice if there was some sort of consequence for the Hollywood elite who covered him for all those years.

I wonder if Michael Obama regrets saying Harvey is a great person?

Just make sure he files the I-485 prior to the expiration of his I-94. Most people would advise you to apply for a SSN very soon after arrival, then legally marry at a courthouse, then apply for Adjustment of Status.......then have your ceremony later.......the sooner you file that I-485, the quicker everything else falls into place.
There are no benefits in waiting to marry and filing the I-485...none....

Well the one thing we can be certain of is that this will go on and on.
