Speaking to US Weekly, the source said: 'Harry and Meghan escaped the chaos back home and are genuinely happy. They're really enjoying Canada; it's a completely different world from what they're used to in London.'

The couple lived in Kensington Palace in London when Meghan first came to the UK, before moving to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor after they married. 

Since relocating to Vancouver Island the couple have the 'freedom to do whatever they want' because the locals 'don't bother them', the source added.

don't blame them a bit. I would want no part of being a royal. Would love to be rich, but would never want to be famous. Being famous must be awful

But it sounds like they don’t really want to be that well known based on the little I read about it.  I did hear about the Queen’s ban regarding the use of the “Royal Sussex” name, so will Harry now take Meagan’s last name?

It is just the titles that are not to be used, surname OK. No idea if she uses her maiden name.

I imagine he could simply use Mountbatten-Windsor.

Whether or not you want to be well-known has little to do with whether or not you will be well-known. 

 

Prince Harry will always be styled that way, unless he or his dad (unlikely to be the Queen) says nope. And they will be the Duke and Duchess without the "HRH" honorific unless/until for the same reasons.

 

I remember seeing him on TV when he lost his mom, walking with his father and his brother and uncle. I was about the same age as him and it really hit home. I couldn't imagine losing my mom in a car accident and then have to have my grief be so public. All reports are that losing her tore him apart in ways that he's still grappling with. He's human, allowed to be human like the rest of us. Maybe being apart from The Firm for a while, if not forever, will help him heal more.

 

Harry sounds like a good, loving, decent person; so does his brother. The country could do far worse than have William on the throne someday.

The freeze in relations between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Buckingham Palace has become apparent after the couple were forced to drop plans to use the brand “SussexRoyal”.

Doesn't it seem kind of dumb in this age of equality,  we have people that are still born of noble birth. The whole idea is offensive.
