06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Someone like this, I expect, with his history and such, is likely going to be hit with more charges/lawsuits.

These charges can give him 25 years in prison. He will have more charges to face in LA, and others will follow.

 

Honestly? I don't expect him surviving jail..

I think the fact that the jury, which also had quite a few men on it, didn't bite on two of the charges shows they were very reasonable on the subject. I think they probably did think he may have done something in those cases, but there was no easy way of proving it. Weinstein's behavior was well known in Hollywood for years, not just the deviant sexual stuff, but his desire to ruin people's lives like some kind of mob boss. He is generally all around a horrible person.
