Get a divorce first and have your fiancée petition for K-1 visa. 

You sure can apply for a visitors visa but having an i129f petition filed will show you have intent on immigrating and that most likely will get the visitors visa denied. It won't hurt your i129f application, so if you have the money to do so, go ahead.
 
as a note though, please work on your patience. This is just one step in a long road that is immigration, you'll always be waiting so it's best to be patient from early on

I read that you withdrew your petition and then submitted a new one. I went through a divorce 7 years ago. I got married to someone and had doubt's even the day of my wedding. my thoughts to you is that if you feel a shadow of a doubt, don't go through with it. Problems will only amplify and get worse. I remarried 3 years ago and I am sure my husband is right for me. Very different feeling than when I married my ex. If you have doubts, don't go through with the marriage. I'm not saying break up but work on the issues and tie the knot when you both feel ready.

Not to argue any particular point but to add that VJ members who have completed their journey do not typically come on here to talk about their successful and wonderful marriage, etc. So we are likely to see the "problem" cases regarding fraudulent marriages, scams and so forth. This will make it seem that there are more people who are scammers than genuine people so please do not be discouraged.

As for the amount of evidence and when to submit is, it does depend on the factors of the individual case. Many you see on VJ fall into the atypical category.

If you just have W-2, include the 1040 as well. Even better would be a tax transcript from the IRS. You can download that and print it immediately from the IRS website.

It looks like you and your husband have been on this visa journey since at least 2012, which tells me that he cared about you enough and believed in your relationship at some point. Why not concentrate and finding a mediator to mend what has been broken and getting you both back on the right path instead of fighting him in a battle that you are not likely to win. As previously stated, it is a spousal visa and said spouse has changed his mind for some reason. Please find a way to fix that big pink elephant in the room. Good Luck!

I noticed your in Tampa Florida . I am going to private message you with a phone number . Its to a Fil Am store , but the owner is very nice and might be able to help you get away from the situation . Find you a home with Filipinos maybe to stay with for now until you resolve the situation . She knows a lot about immigration and things like that and might be able to help you there as well . Good to get in touch with someone who speaks your own language for at least some comfort if nothing else .

Would this fall under the "too married" for a K1 visa, but "not married enough" for a spousal visa? I have limited experience with red flags, etc, but I have seen some people who've had this problem where the embassy considered them "too married" and denied the visa because it was the wrong type. I imagine someone with that experience will chime in.
On the other hand, if he was legally divorced and free to marry (no time constraints post-divorce), then I wouldn't think that his being married before would be a problem. Lots of us have been married before. Good luck! I'm anxious to know how it goes, as would people filing with Egyptian fiance's, I'm sure.
