It should be fine. Just make sure everything is complete and accurate, so that they don't return the package (especially sign the form and check the payment)

Just got my 10 year card on the mail, no interview required (I need to update my timeline). I filed on the first days of April 2021.

I've haven't filed N400 yet, I need to start working on that.

Hope everyone gets good news soon!

I did go through the Global Entry Lin. The kiosk was using facial recognition.

    Benefits:
The passport card is cheap and, in some scenarios, you can leave the full passport at home.

    Downsides: None

Can you elaborate please? Did you go through Global Entry kiosk or normal line? If kiosk, was it using facial recognition?

I have Global Entry and my entry interaction with the immigration officer was about 3 seconds, when getting back into the country. Only the airline agent cared about the extension letter when checking us in/giving us our boarding passes.

You are not yet a permanent resident, you will need to show your Advance Parole document to the check in counter.

The ROC was approved that good thing. Congratulations, you had a good case with strong evidence and no red flags, good job.

Just need to prepare for the n400, if under the 3 year rule just be prepared to submit updated evidence that you live with your spouse and are still married. You will need proof that your spouse is a USA citizen for the past 3 years or more.

    Filed our i-751 on Feb 22, 2021.
    Filed our n-400 on July 22, 2022.

Today,  on MyUSCIS it shows i-751 approved.

    n-400 still says 8 months.

I was expecting a double interview --- but the i-751 was approved without even an interview.  Weird.  Your thoughts of what are going on?!?!?!?

    Thanks!!!

Not really. Some people wait in their cars in the parking lot. There's also some benches outside the USCIS building where you can sit. It's not a particularly walkable area/nothing much around, but if the spouse goes away somewhere they probably won't make it back in time to enter for the ceremony (if the ceremony officer allows people to come in). I would just plan to sit outside and enjoy an hour or two of introspection, hah.

You are questioning the cost benefit ratio of having a second proof of U.S. Citizenship. For an additional $35.

I think so, too, but we filed the N-400 in hopes that filing would nudge the I-751 along.  I just don't know why USCIS is not waiving more interviews.  Their policy allows them to do so for solid cases.  I have requested a combo interview, FWIW.

Try again. Keep trying. You are legally entitled (some could argue REQUIRED) to have a stamp as proof of status and for travel and work proof purposes and - speaking as someone who has had 12(?) stamps now - this kind of rubbish that they are currently pulling makes me angry.
If they keep giving the same excuse, then you need to play them at their own game and give them an 'urgent' reason, which will get it marked as urgent, and will give you a callback and an appointment within a day or so.  Amongst others, they class as urgent stuff like imminent travel, emergency travel, medical reasons, proof of status being required for document purposes such as driving license, or for work i-9 certification purposes.  If this was to perhaps mean you have to book a fully something like a fully refundable ticket to show them, and then cancel that after attending your appointment, then so be it.

You mention later you submitted tax returns and tax transcripts. What are these “tax forms” you also submitted?

Do you have a U.S. birth certificate, CRBA, naturalization certificate, or certificate of citizenship?

If your income is “close” to the I-864P threshold that could be a problem too.
    Could be.

Unfortunately you get just one chance to reply with an acceptable I-864.  Consider hiring a professional to help you respond to this RFE.

If you removed wording from Social Security card and have a valid drivers license / ID that's all you need to prove your work authorization.

For stamp, it wouldn't hurt to bring expired extension letter and job offer

Great point @beloved_dingo. 2020 was "Married filing separately" for us so I'll include 2020's tax transcript as well! And sounds good on the driver's license.

We submitted everything in Feb of 2020 and received our green card in Oct 2020 (so we are cutting it close for this I-751 submission 😅)

@I-751Dallas can you please quote those who were denied N-400 because of pending I-751?
The worst case in my understanding is that your N-400 interview gets conducted but no decision made because of pending I-751. Then you would have to wait for I-751 to be approved.

@Hphelp you cannon file N-400 earlier than 3 years minus 90 days since you became LPR. You also should be still married and living in marital union when filing + pass physical presence test.
