Did you figure out what to do here yet? I'm filling it out on behalf of the beneficiary. There are two sections, Part 2 17 and Part 3 15 that ask for "Income contribution to the beneficiary annually". For the first one if I'm filling out on behalf of her, would I put the annual amount of income I plan to contribute to her from my own income? And then the same goes for Part 3 #15. They worded parts of this doc awfully to the point no one actually knows what they are asking for. I'm wondering if I should just put my full salary in there for both lol.

Update - My wife just received a status update of "Returned to Agency", so hoping this means that the new SSC gets sent to our house in the next 7-10 days.

This is incorrect.   ALL cases go through administrative processing.  It is a required part of the process, not a delay tactic.  In most cases, it takes just a matter of days.

@jibril2xx see the document I shared on page 1 of the thread. That's what it literally states. I'm just sharing what they provided my fiancé.

    Hi all,

Just need to find out some info since my fiance is panicking a bit after her interview. She is Ukrainian and just finished up her interview in Frankfurt, but they gave her a packet that says "Your Visa is Nearly Approved". What does this exactly mean? She said for the most part that her interview went smoothly but they grilled her on one question about her B1 tourist visa that she received back in 2019. She wanted to come see me but thought she would be denied by border patrol if she said that she was going to see her boyfriend, so she instead lied then and said she was going to New York City. They asked her this exact question during the interview and she told the truth that she was actually seeing me.

I was expecting things to go fairly smoothly, but she said she was caught off guard during this question and is super nervous now since they packet doesn't just say "Approved". At the end of the interview they told her that everything looks fine and that she can go now, and provided her this packet. Any advice is very helpful.

Just my personal opinion but even despite the fact that she didn't say the full truth while entering in 2019 - she did not overstay, did not marry you, did not AOS. You guys still did everything correctly from USCIS standpoint. Hopefully that means she gets her visa soon!

So an update: I went to CEAC and it currently says "Administrative Processing" as of today, plus they took her passport after the interview and didn't issue any 221g. Hopefully these are all good signs.

It might be a new nomenclature they use in Frankfurt.  Visas cannot really be approved at the interview.  The interviewing CO may be satisfied, but they still have to run a background check as part of the administrative process, or at least verify all the documents she submitted at the interview.

Many times people post here that they were "approved" at the interview yet their status online showed AP or "Refused" and some verbage about administrative processing.

That is the standard process .. immigrant intent as demonstrated by the petition negates visit intent. Hopefully it wont be long before you see “issued”. Receiving the info packet you described is a very positive indicator. Did they keep her passport ?

Hi! So we were just approved yesterday (Warsaw embassy, same as yours) so I’ll try to update my old questions and answer yours here.

    1. Beneficiary does NOT sign the certification if the Petitioner fills it out on their behalf.

    2. Part 3 Items 15 is worded strangely, but if you are using assets to substitute for income, include those ONLY in the following asset section (iirc Item 20). Even if your answer to 15 is $0, the asset section may alone be sufficient.

    3. The form uses the word “beneficiary” in multiple ways, but a careful reading of Part 2 and 3 makes clear what you need to do. For Part 2 Item 17, write ONLY what the beneficiary can contribute and to whom (their ‘beneficiaries’). For K-1, this should be nothing. For Part 3, it’s asking what someone else can contribute to the beneficiary. Part 3 is all that’s consequential for the K-1.

The form is to be used for multiple visa types, but imagine that parts of it are ‘struck’ based on your answers to the previous questions and who you’re sponsoring. If you’re filling out Part 2, they’re interested in the ‘beneficiary’s beneficiaries’ because this shows how many people are dependent on them already and increases the amount of money they need to prove.

And to answer @nekotakacho’s question about the B2, however, the B2 does NOT need an I-134 and it’s not worth filling out. I know online it’s mentioned as something you can do, but it’s never asked for by the embassy. B2 interviews are very short and most people are surprised about how little the consul actually asks for.

I appreciate the responses from everyone. I kinda figured there wasn't any way to expedite but thought it was at least worth asking. Hopefully this conflict settles down soon. Her and I have been through the COVID pandemic together and are now facing another major challenge... crazy times.

You will most likely need your interview date to schedule it as that is what we were told.
