You see? You can rely on VJ members to provide trustworthy information. Sounds delicious! You perhaps have a future with the State Tourism office. Really appreciate your updated report. Makes me want to visit Wyoming even more than I want to already.

Question about after approval
TBoneTX replied to Dominic828's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
CBP at the POE can ask the same questions as a consular officer can, and can refuse entry. However, CBP rarely does this, because the entrant has so recently been vetted at the consulate. In rare instances. One memorable instance was when a K-1 entrant joked in answer to the "do you plan to marry within 90 days" standard question, and he was turned around and sent back. Avoid joking; answer what's asked, and volunteer no further information unless asked. -
True, and the question is how to handle the real motive definitively. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Boulder Terrorist Gets 118 Charges, Yet His Real Motive Is Still Being Ignored Mohamed Sabry Soliman, an Egyptian national who had overstayed his visa, has now been saddled with 118 criminal charges, including 28 counts of attempted murder, for throwing Molotov cocktails last Sunday at a group of people who were peacefully marching to advocate for the release of the Israeli hostages Hamas seized on Oct. 7, 2023. He is also facing federal hate crime charges, as he was clearly intending to target Jews. Yet while we have come a long way from last Sunday, when Boulder police chief Steve Redfearn insisted that Soliman's motive was not yet known, his real motive has not yet been confronted, and likely never will be. Who's Paying for the Violent L.A. Protests Against ICE? You Are. And It Gets Worse From There The left threw violent anti-immigration protests in seven different areas of Los Angeles beginning on Friday, and you'll never guess who paid for it. If you guessed "you," you are right. Not only are taxpayers paying for the initial ICE raids, which netted 44 illegal aliens, but we're paying for the police, sheriff's deputies, enhanced California Highway Patrol, and the federal response to the violent protests against the ICE raids, too. But that's only the half of it. Most Americans are only too willing to pay for law enforcement, but it turns out that you're also paying for the L.A. immigration protesters, too! But that's not the worst of it, so you'll just have to keep on reading. K1 Visa Question
TBoneTX replied to Alex3132428's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports
That's good news about the safety aspect. A lot of these travel advisories are overblown or too "blanket." Be aware that Juarez is the only consulate where K-1 & CR-1 interviews are conducted. -

Petitions won't help. From another post in this forum: "K-1 visas are not included in the exceptions as fiancés are not immediate family members. IR-1/CR-1 is included in the exceptions. "While it is still early, based on previous iterations of this, it is considered unlikely to be struck down by the courts by most legal observers, though there is some discussion as to if individuals such as K-1 petitioners could sue based on the specifics of their circumstances. If this is something you would prefer as compared to refile as IR-1/CR-1, you should contact a lawyer who can provide you legal advice — no one on this forum can. "If you want the most practical approach at this time it would be to get married and then file an I-130, withdrawing the I-129F petition as it would no longer be valid after the marriage. "Probably the easiest way for people going the K-1 route impacted by this would be the Utah online marriage route followed by an in-person meeting, but a marriage in your fiancé’s country or a third country would also work. If you go the Utah route, you must meet in person after the wedding and before filing the I-130."

K1 Visa Question
TBoneTX replied to Alex3132428's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports
You might have 6 or so more months to wait for petition approval, so things can change. The only consideration is whether she could safely make it to Cd. Juarez for the eventual visa interview. -
Texas Driver's License
TBoneTX replied to J.M.'s topic in Moving to the US and Your New Life In America
How do we know that the toothbrush was invented in Arkansas? Had it been invented elsewhere, it would be called a teethbrush! --- I've found that the Texas DMV doesn't monkey around. Bring along whatever might conceivably be asked for. -
The following might not apply to you, but for the benefit of others: Be sure that your card is sent to a place where you're sure to get it. If it's "in care of" someone else, be sure that your name is also on that person's mailbox. If you've recently moved in somewhere and have just changed your address, notify the people who've moved in at your old address to be on the lookout in case your card comes there.

After no production for 2 months, Cat T-B. #3 has barfed twice in the last 3 days. Both efforts were highly liquid and all over (like ALL over) the tile floor. High-quality paper towels are a must.

VAWA, Part 27
TBoneTX replied to TBoneTX's topic in Effects of Major Family Changes on Immigration Benefits
It's Sunday already! Time for our tension-relieving Official Weekly VAWA-Thread Joke: =========================================== ABOUT MARRIED LIFE... Love is patient. Love is kind. Love is my husband pretending not to see the three Amazon packages on the porch. Being at Costco is so embarrassing. Oh, let me just get my eyes checked while I shop for a gallon of minced garlic and my wife is lost in the Brita filter section. Wife: "Did you speak to our tax guy yet?" Me: "Yeah, I'm literally texting him now." What I'm typing: "Ground beef implies the existence of sky beef." Have you ever wondered what it's like being a husband? One day you're low on toothpaste, and the next day a new tube appears. Me: "God gives His toughest battles to His strongest soldiers." Wife: "They're literally just out of fountain Diet Coke." Watching a movie from 1935 with my wife when a dog appears on screen: "That dog's dead now." I told my wife that she should embrace her mistakes. She gave me a hug. My husband has arrived home with emotional-support fried chicken. And took the baby. This is why he's my favorite. I ask my husband "Did you sleep well?" only as a segue to tell him how poorly I slept. Guys, my husband just cured my anxiety. He said, "Just don't worry about it," and OMG why have I never tried that before?! My wife just called pillowcases "pillow outfits." My husband is doing this really annoying thing where he refuses to say exactly what I want him to, word-for-word. My wife just fixed herself lunch and left a single piece of bread. So after 15 years, the relationship finally has a villain. Just finished an estate-planning session with my husband, and, just FYI, our lawyer says you don't get a discount for simplifying things with a suicide pact. -
Thrilling Saturday non-ES report, see man: Belatedly reminded Mini-B. that this was the Many'th anniversary of losing Miu T-B. #2, sigh man. Mini-B. remembers and was sobered by it, favorite miu of wee man man. Awoke in time to take Mini-B. to lunch at favorite restaurant in FST, Two Guys excursion man. Road-destruction delays caused this to be, well, delayed, man. Mini-B. had a half-of-half-a-pound burger with all fixings, excellent man. We had chopped steak + green beans, worst ever for some reason man. Lunch took over half an hour to be served, longest in history and in semi-empty restaurant man. Waitress didn't give a poop about notifying us about the delay, affected her tip man. Mini-B. was quite pleased with the excursion, excurt Two Guys man. We had to skip going to FST downtown & little supermarket, bummer man. Had to return to casa in time to take Mama T-B. to her imaging caucus, aysheep senior she man man. Got Mama T-B. to/from imaging, almost completely immobile senior she man man. We were soak-sweated afterward, perspirational we man. Mini-B. wanted us to go out back to throw a baseball, well finally man. Mini-B. wore his lefty glove, birthday present man. We wore our righty glove, ES purchase months ago for $Many ($2+2+1), knew it would pay off man. Used baseball from another prior ES, $2 man. Great fun, fun had by Two Guys man. Din-din was nuked elbow macaroni + meatballs + meat sauce, ingest Two Guys man. Movie night was more Breaking Bad episodes, watch Two Guys man. Many (2+2+1) bowls of Costco popcorn were consumed, ingest Two Guys man. This tallied to [2 Manyzen + 1] bowls for the week, impressive total man. Ex-Mrs.-T-B. is back from Nueva York, business trip empresaria she man. Fortunately, the Rojo is now responsible for local transport, regards & sympathies to the Rojo man. No party with the rubias tonight, no cavort we man. Might hit one of Friday's ESs to see if a item is still there, half-price on Sunday man. And that was/is our thrilling Saturday, report we man.

This is the easiest stage of the entire process, except of course in one instance, which you should study intensely: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/382775-mrs-t-b-the-citizenship-test/ -
Welcome to the forum! What do the instructions say? Read them carefully, interpret them literally, and answer completely/honestly. I haven't read the instructions, but "residences" or "addresses" would seem to be places where you received your mail and could be reliably found. Depending on the literal instructions, I say 2., and explain the short gaps only if questioned in the naturalization interview. Others here may have differing views.

We belatedly recall that June Many'th (2+2th) was the Many'th (2+2+1th) anniversary of having to euthanize Miu T-B. #2, miss fat fluffy miu Two Guys man. She expired in Mini-B.'s lap, bye miu man. This is why we didn't complain about up-mopping current miu's barf from all over the kitchen floor this morning, no man.
