"Too married to file an I-129F and qualify for a fiancé visa -- visa refused." Per above, completely forget the ceremony idea for now. -
Arrested for DUI after submitting I-129F
TBoneTX replied to mcdoodles's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
And, as soon as you get your A# and your petition has gone to the consulate, proactively send an e-mail (A# in Subject line), saying what you told us and attaching the disposition of the DUI case. -
If the media knew, or cared, jack-poop about visa types, someone would have sorted this out and explained things precisely by now.

Daily Update on Biden Tanking America (Part 2)
TBoneTX replied to TBoneTX's topic in Current Events and Hot Social Topics
Relevant to the apparent use of the auto-pen to sign all but one of Bidementia's orders. See the picture atop the article! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Scandal: Historians Determine All Of George Washington's Orders Were Signed By Auto-Feather MT. VERNON, VA — In a massive scandal upending centuries of historical beliefs, researchers have discovered that George Washington signed the vast majority of his orders with an auto-feather device. "After careful study and research of early American history, we've discovered a device called the 'Auto-Feather' that George Washington used to sign pretty much every one of his presidential orders," historian Fineas T. Barlow told the press. "We have even learned he used the auto-feather device to issue military orders and even to sign letters to his wife." Historians discovered the auto-feather while looking through an old storage cupboard in Mt. Vernon. They then found [...] https://babylonbee.com/news/scandal-historians-determine-all-of-george-washingtons-orders-were-signed-by-auto-feather -
Colorado Rockies Demoted To Church Softball League DENVER, CO — After starting the season with a 9-48 record, the Colorado Rockies have been officially demoted to a church softball league. Major League Baseball had initially considered sending the Rockies down to the minor leagues, but ultimately felt that church softball was really more their lane as far as competition. "We expect the Colorado Rockies to be a real contender for the tri-city church softball crown," said commissioner Rob Manfred. "They have their work cut out for them to dethrone the Baptist Bombers, but [...] https://babylonbee.com/news/colorado-rockies-demoted-to-church-softball-league

Really interesting article! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Why Do Truck Drivers Need to Speak English? The left is furious that the Trump administration is officially enforcing (effective date: June 25) the longstanding law that truck drivers must be proficient in English. The left claims that you don't need to speak English to drive; this must be bigotry against immigrants, or against Spanish speakers, or against the uneducated, or against certain ethnicities. It's not. Whether one is an immigrant or a native American, whether one has a college degree or just a high school diploma, whether one's skin color is black or white or plaid or polka-dotted — none of this matters to the question of whether a person can be a safe truck driver. What does matter? [...] https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2025/05/why_do_truck_drivers_need_to_speak_english.html

VAWA, Part 27
TBoneTX replied to TBoneTX's topic in Effects of Major Family Changes on Immigration Benefits
Our jokes have been effective lately! Here's our Official Weekly VAWA-Thread Joke (in honor of Poland's presidential runoff on Sunday): =========================================== EYE CHART A Polish immigrant went to the DMV to apply for a driver's license. First, he had to take an eyesight test. The optician showed him a card with the letters CZWIXNOSTACZYK. "Can you read this?" the optician asked? "Read it?!" said the Polish immigrant. "I KNOW the guy!" -
It's unclear to me what the Japanese outfit gets for all this investment, but the rest of the story remains really heartwarming. Sounds like a heck of a celebration event. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Trump returns Pennsylvania steel to the backbone of America WEST MIFFLIN, Pennsylvania — Flanked by a sea of steelworkers dressed in their orange safety jackets and hard hats, President Donald Trump was given a hero's welcome at the Mon Valley Irvin Works to mark the signing of the U.S. Steel-Nippon Steel deal, the largest investment in state history. "With the help from patriots like you, we are going to produce our own metal, make our own energy, secure our own future, build our country, control our own destiny and we are once again going to put Pennsylvania steel into the backbone of America," Trump said of the deal between U.S. Steel and Nippon Steel that announced last Friday. An absolute outrage! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ New Docs Reveal How FBI Insiders Buried Evidence Of Spygate Crimes Nellie Ohr isn't a new name in the Russiagate saga, but newly released documents from Sen. Chuck Grassley's office shatter the fiction that she was just a low-level researcher and reveal her as a key conduit between Clinton operatives, the DOJ, and the FBI. The documents also pull back the curtain on a darker truth: an internal black hole FBI system designed not just to restrict access to sensitive Russiagate documents, but to bury them so completely that even FBI agents tasked with finding them wouldn't know they existed. What was already known about Nellie Ohr is that she worked for Fusion GPS — an opposition research firm led by former Wall Street Journal reporters Glenn Simpson and Peter Fritsch — who were hired by the Clinton campaign in April 2016 to manufacture the Trump-Russia collusion hoax. At the same time, her husband, Bruce Ohr, was a senior official at the Department of Justice. It was also known that Nellie Ohr gathered open-source information on various figures, including Trump campaign advisor Carter Page, which was then twisted to fit the collusion narrative. What was not known — until now — is just how deeply involved she was in the Trump-Russia collusion smear, how brazenly she lied to cover it up, and how the FBI actively aided in the cover-up. Yes, all paper. Those individual files will certainly thicken as the steps progress. Heaven forbid that a USCIS staffer would misfile a folder in a box going someplace it shouldn't... -
Seen in the news, seen man: "Poland will hold a presidential runoff election on Sunday, with polls indicating a neck-and-neck race between a liberal pro-European Union mayor and a Trump-backed conservative from the Law and Justice (PiS) party, oj tak." It's cool to have a PiS party, oj tak. We suspect that the vote tallies will be Many,000,000 to Many,000,000, oj tak. Like always, depending on the definition of Many, they will never pick a president, oj nie. And where exactly is our Polish Commie-babe Asia to comment on all this, oj huh huh huh? Bad absent Asia! Welcome to the forum! The instructions for 5 years are less stringent than those for 3 years. Read carefully, interpret literally, and react/respond completely and honestly. If the marriage certificate isn't required, then it isn't required. Should the interviewing officer ask, explain as you have to us, supply your divorce certificate, and point out that the materials already in your file support your marital history. Be sure to give us updates when things happen!

If interested in laddering (CDs expiring in sequence over months or years), see the 3-, 4-, and 5-year rates here: https://www.farmbureau.bank/Resources/Rates/Deposit-Rates As said earlier, you need not be a member of a farm bureau to purchase one. The customer-service lady spent nearly half an hour on the phone with me, answering my questions. She says that you can register a joint owner during purchase, and (this is a boon!) also concurrently ask for accrued monthly interest to be paid out without having to perform a second step later (phoning, filing another form, etc.).
