Bob in Boston reacted to Crazy Cat in Delay … we sent too much?
Waiting is the hard part. Fast, convenient, and inexpensive are not words we see normally in the vocabulary of USCIS and the Department of State.

Bob in Boston got a reaction from AFCF in Marrying a U.S citizen who's in prison - which visa ?
With that on his record the chance of him landing a good job is slim. Good jobs require background checks and Moral character checks. What will he do for work? Can you be the bread winner? He may get frustrated with the way things are going and return to a life of crime. Spending 6 or 7 years in jail changes a man and not for the better. Think about your future. I have 3 daughters and spent 33.5 years in law enforcement. He has a lot on his plate just to get back to normal. Getting married should be last on his list. Do yourself and the people who love you a favor. Do not pursue this man. I think you'll regret it.

Brother and sister both in law enforcement and prison life is rough
You can do a search
http://kool.corrections.ky.gov/
that's the Kentucky offender lookup
You can also search court records to see ALL his arrests and convictions
it may help to know his prison ID or SS #.
Visits in Kentucky prison are scheduled if u r on visitor list (HInt: u should be able to view who else is on that list /I would check for other females)
visits are for 1 hour with possible 1 hour extension
read the site I sent as it says it all

Bob in Boston got a reaction from agrabs in Can newly naturalized wife with changed name check in for flight to USA using passport in maiden name?
What Airline are you flying? Korean Air let me change the name for like $35. I had to send old and new passports (Copys) but they will do it no problem. Problem solved

Bob in Boston got a reaction from InaneTripe in Criminal Record No Court
This is Bull, Your guaranteed a speedy trial. Have your lawyer pursue this.
The Sixth Amendment guarantees the rights of criminal defendants, including the right to a public trial without unnecessary delay, the right to a lawyer, the right to an impartial jury, and the right to know who your accusers are and the nature of the charges and evidence against you.

Bob in Boston reacted to top_secret in Criminal Record No Court
Were charges even filed? Unless I'm missing something here, it seems like there was an arrest, you were released, and the DA hasn't filed a case over it. (???) If that was what happened, then "there was an arrest but no charges were filed". If charges had been filed then there would be a court case to refer to.

Bob in Boston got a reaction from TBoneTX in Applying for Firearms ID
In Mass take the firearms safety first. Once done visit your local Police Department and fill out the application. You will be interviewed and we have 2 classes here. Life and Property and Hunting and target shooting. Pick one. You will do better in a small town rather than a big one. Too much crime in the big ones and they are very picky. I got mine through Law Enforcement so its easy for me and I cant comment on what the interview is like. Just need to qualify once a year And I fall under LEOSA which is a Federal law for Law Enforcement

Bob in Boston got a reaction from AKN2 in Big fight, husband crossed a line
To answer your question , you can leave anytime you want to, just hop on the plane and go. I will advise you to think about it though. If you dont feel safe by all means get away. Just make sure its what you really want to do. Some things cant be undone and if you leave in a huff and then want to come back.... things will get complicated.
