Hello Everyone,

Has anyone ever had negative experience traveling to the Philippines and back to the US with Eva Air in terms of all the various US entry documents like boarding foil, expired green card with Removal Of Condition letter, etc.

Are Eva Air gate agents well-versed with the US travel documents? Thanks in advance.

EVA Air is one of the best airlines out there.  They know all about US Entry requirements.  They have fantastic service and you will have no problem with them.

Funny how this topic show up when I am seriously thinking of booking round trip Eva air to Philippines this May. I was on the fence first flying Eva air but thanks to replies I'm not. Lol. Either this or China airline but it have extra 11 hours layover on return trip. So I picked Eva air.

I have flown back and forth to Phils many times. I flew EVA once, and I never used them again. I will always, without hesitation, pay more for Korean Air or ANA. The entire flight experience, from the seating to the storage to food to the flight paths are just--leagues--better. In my opinion.

To your question: I did not experience and have not heard of EVA gate agents being any more or less versed in entry and exit requirements than any other airline. In that respect, they in fact seemed very on task and knowledgable.

Flew EVA once LA-Taiwan-MNL and back.  Nothing sticks out to remember, so it must've been decent.

Not sure if they still do this route, but my favorite flight was with Philippine Airlines from/to LAX, direct flights with no transfers.  A quick stop in Guam to refuel but didn't leave the plane.

Worst one is China Airlines.  Bad food and long layovers in Shanghai, which is a bad airport that requires you to process customs for connecting flights.  Their customs is overcrowded and hectic.
