- Uploaded unsolicited evidence 2023 taxes to support I-864 under I-485 documents tab online. 2/13

My step daughter got hers approved in like 35 days last may. Sometimes they come quick. We waited 26 weeks back in 2019.

From what I see they crank EAD out like hot cakes. If you had biometrics it is a few weeks at most based on the current trend. At least for family based AOS. I cannot speak to other petition types.

Some people have waited for as long as 8 months within the last year, but it seems to be getting faster.

I checked a few thousands cases with the case tracker app and I-765s get approved first and fast.

Is it customary for USCIS to accept walk-ins for biometrics, at an earlier date than it was scheduled in the letter?
Is it advisable to just show up and ask to be taken in, just to shorten the overall waiting/ processing time?

As I posted yesterday, my wife got her EAD approval in 30 days (2/26-3/28). We "lost"" two weeks due to an Affidavit of Support RFE (USCIS allegedly stops processing until the RFE gets resolved?), so technically, she got approved in two weeks. Her SSN card arrived last week, about 3 weeks after filing.

It is never guaranteed but you live nearby I don't see harm in trying.
